What To Expect

Make your way to the meeting point in downtown Tampa in time for your morning, afternoon, or early evening tour. After meeting your guide, it’s time to learn how to ride your Segway, and you’ll have some time to practice turning, stopping, and controlling your speed before you set out.

Once you and the rest of the small group are feeling comfortable, follow your guide on a sightseeing tour of the city, passing landmarks including the Embassy Suites and Amalie Arena. Glide along the scenic Tampa Riverwalk with views along the Hillsborough River, and zip around Curtis Hixon Park.

During the 2-hour tour, you’ll make several stops to learn more about Tampa, admire panoramic views of the city, and take photos. Finally, you’ll head back to the Embassy Suites where your tour ends.

Guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the town and places to point out to visitors. Made it very interesting for our group. Very fun experience and would definitely do again. It would be helpful to have the phone number for the business on the booking. We were running late and could not call. Otherwise a great time!

This was such a fun tour. I have never ridden a Segway before, but Marco was a great instructor and we were whizzing around easily in a very short time. We traveled Downtown and got a chance to see some amazing sites. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The tour, mostly along the Riverwalk and then through the University of Tampa campus was interesting and our guide provided lots of interesting information at our various stops along the way. Good, quick and easy training for several in our group who had never been on a Segway before. Everyone was able to navigate the 2 plus miles (including the crowds on Memorial Day weekend on the Riverwalk) with no issues. We enjoyed the Riverwalk area, and particularly the Waterworks area so much that we went back later and ate dinner at one of the locations.
