    Carmel Market Tour is a great value if you are a foodie

    Food was excellent. The location is a fascinating mix of cultures. The guide pointed out many unique facts about the food, cultures, and history we would have missed on our own. The price was extremely reasonable.

    We didn’t think this tour was worth the money. The guide was halfway through another tour with some of the people on our food tour and was not particularly engaged for the market part. She was also vegetarian and made the tour very carb heavy with no meat which I found disappointing. I also asked if we could do our final tasting - which she seemed undecided about - at a Halvah stand but was told no. I get that you can’t customize much in a group tour but this seemed like it would have been easy enough to do. We went through the market in Jerusalem without a guide and had a much better experience.

    The tour of the Tel Aviv Carmel Market and more was outstanding! Our tour guide was awesome and we visited many places with various foods and he introduced us to other local establishments we went back to eat at on our own. It was great! In addition our guide provided a considerable amount for further knowledge on Israel and the local area. Simply a wonderful time and money well spent!

    The Tour guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the market. I give 3 stars because the address indicated as a starting point was so confused ( no references) we find out we were in the right place after the tour guide called my number to le me know he was running late. Also is difficult to get answers using the Viator app.

    Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide. It was great to try so many new foods that came to Israel. Sad I got too fool.
