We cannot pick up at hotels in Chiba Prefecture (Maihama, etc.), Kanagawa Prefecture (Yokohama, etc.), airports or ports. If you stay at a hotel outside of Tokyo, please come to the designated meeting point. 【Note】If you are booking is made within 24 hours of the tour/activity departure time, we cannot guarantee hotel meetup. (In this case, we will change to Tsukiji Honganji Temple)

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Fab walking tour in Tokyo

Fantastic 4 hour walking tour in Tokyo. Our guide, Sam, was great, friendly and knowledgeable. It was really enjoyable and great to be shown a couple of the Tokyo highlights by a local. woudl highly recommend this tour and our guide Sam :-)

Fumi is a fantastic tour guide. She is so knowledgeable, kind, and fun. We had so much fun on our Tokyo tour. We learned so much from her about Japan, its culture, and its people. She was so sweet to take pictures of us with her professional camera. She also went out of her way to help us with buying a Nintendo Switch. Not just this, there were many instances where I asked for something, and she remembered & got us to the right places. She is very considerate and kind. She took us to a great Kimono place where my wife bought an amazing Kimono. Also, you can change the itinerary to match what you would like to see. Fumi added these changes to the plan and made sure we had a smooth experience. I highly recommend Fumi any day. She is the best!

Yoshimi was the absolute BEST! She made our custom itinerary and was so accommodating, helped us change our tour last minute due to the weather, showed us how to use the subway system and truly exceeded expectations. She went above and beyond to explain the history of each place, recommended different sites, and showed us places we wouldn’t have found on our own. She made us feel extremely comfortable. If I could give Yoshimi and this tour 10 stars I would, truly the highlight of our trip!!!

Tomo made a bespoke tour for us that perfectly suited our needs. Having been lucky to arrive as the cherry blossoms were in full bloom we asked to see all the best locations to enjoy this glorious spectacle. KK was an excellent tour host! He was so patient with our children who were a little tired and cranky from the flight the night prior. He showed us how to use the train system and how to order food. Took us to beautiful locations while explaining in perfect English. It was a great start to our first trip to Japan.

My family and I very much enjoyed the tour put together by our wonderful Guide Asaka. She planned activities and sites that aligned with out interests and group needs as we had a family members with us with limited mobility using a wheelchair. She was quickly responsive to emails and answered our questions. It was a great experience for all!

Visited Tsujiki Outer Market (pedestrian streets with hawkers/restaurants) where we saw some food cooked with bunsen burners, Akihabara township (electronic goods mecca), Sky Tree Tower for a bird’s eye view of Tokyo, and the nearby Senso-ji Temple & souvenir shopping area (located in front of Senso-ji). A wonderful & informative tour, thanks to Kyoko, our guide. Kyoko is truly a dedicated guide who made sure that we got the most out of the tour. She offered good suggestions to my overly ambitious itinerary (n terms of time management). She speaks good English and has a warm & friendly personality.

Spent a rainy day in Tokyo with Yoko- despite the rain showers- the day was great and Yoko was a terrific guide. Yoko took us all over the city to see a wide diversity of sites from the Toyosu Fish Market to Asakusa Shrine and Imperial Palace Gardens. She was very knowledgable, spoke English very well, and was able to accomodate our interests and the weather to really customize the tour to us. She taught us how to navigate the trains and buses and really feel comfortable traveling about Tokyo. Great personality and fun- highly recommended expericed guide with whom to spend a day in Tokyo.
Fantastic Tokyo Tour!

Our guide was Tak. He was wonderful. Our experience from booking to through the planning process, communication, and the actual trip was excellent. We needed to edit our booking once and communicating that need with them went smoothly. Our guide, Tak reached out a week ahead and asked us our preferences. In addition, he continued to answer questions and let us know his suggestions/adjustments to the schedule as needed. Tak was so friendly and he met us at the place we were staying and sat down with us to explain the plan for the day. He also asked along the way if there were any additional requests or options. He was knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Tokyo. This is the first time we have opted for a guide - Tokyo was so big and we didn't know where to start. We highly recommend this as an option. We requested Tsukiji market, Harajuku, Shibuya, Imperial Palace, and Meiji Shrine for our 8 hour tour. Tak created a route that made sense and knew the trains so well! Be sure to wear some good walking shoes for an 8 hour tour. He took a good lunch stop and a coffee stop and wrote down recommendations for dinner near our hotel. It was a memorable day. Thanks for a fantastic tour!

Young was a fantastic tour guide taking our group of 8 around Tokyo and hitting many of the highlights. She was knowledgeable and really made us feel welcome in her city. The lunch spot she took us to was fantastic! Hui Highly recommend!

Our guide Yuriko was amazing!! Friendly & knowledgeable, she offered historical and current cultural, social perspectives at all of our locations. Direct communication occurred via email 24hrs before our meeting time. She was very accommodating to our interests and requests. We visited Tsukiji fish outer market (my personal favorite!) tried sushi, Wagyu BBQ, sashimi, then went to Asakusa temple and Nakamuda shopping street, tried strawberry mochi. We went to Ginza and had lunch (delicious!) then Meiji Shinto shrine (my Son’s fav!) and Harajuku. Dropped in a cat cafe (seriously, they exist!). All of this on foot & metro which added to the tour’s charm & appeal. Highly recommend!
Fantastic half day tour with Akane

We had an absolutely wonderful 4 hour private guided tour with our fantastic local guide Akane. She created a bespoke tour based on our requirements which included visits to Shibuya crossing, the mini pig cafe, conveyor belt sushi experience and the Pokemon mega store. All things that were at the top of my children’s wish list. Thank you Akane for such a wonderful tour and all the insightful tips about the local culture. We will definitely be contacting you again on our next trip to Tokyo!
Tour Guide Life! Taka was amazing!

Taka was our guide and he was wonderful! He created 2 different itineraries for us and was able to incorporate new spots we forgot to include. Taka explained the history behind the shrines and temples we visited, so we were able to really understand the rich Japanese culture of all the sacred sites we were able to visit. We walked and took public transportation, which was also a treat! Taka gave great recommendations for baseball shops, second-hand stores, camera shops and record stores. Also - Taka gave us recommendations for directions to other sites we would be visiting on our own.

Our guide was very accommodating and patient and tried to ensure that we did the things we were interested in. She was also very organised and had wet wipes and a little plastic bag for dirt which we appreciated. She was a gem at the train station when she advised us to get a day pass (which our previous guide did not do). The only thing we would have done differently was to have tea in Gyoen garden as apposed to just before entering. We would also have liked more culture and history shared. Having said this we have booked 4 tours in Japan and this was the best one (the others were appalling and we’ll likely never book tours in Japan again).

We were able to tour downtown Tokyo and do a tour inside the imperial palace. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was a complete pleasure to be around. We would recommend her for any tour.
