Cancellation Policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Really fun tour! As promised, we went to local taco vendors and street stalls we would never have stopped at as tourists, and the food was really delicious and memorable at every stop. Our guide Enrique was a terrific story teller and kept us engaged and interested the entire tour. We would have liked more background about the particular taco stands and the people who own and run them, as we were interested in the stories of the people behind the food as much as the good. But overall, very fun experience and would happily recommend!

Absolutely fantastic introduction to local authentic Mexican cuisine in Tulum, off the main drag and away from the tourist traps. Our tour consisted of 8 different stops 1) traditional tacos 2) Mayan tacos 3) fresh juices 4) a quick pop into a local grocery 5) tamales 6) the best empanadas you’ll ever taste 7) carnitas and 8) popsicles and ice cream. Enrique was a truly phenomenal guide - extremely knowledgeable about the area, the food, and the world in general. Don’t worry about photos either, Enrique also assumes the role of photographer. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tulum for the first time - your stomach will thank you. Worth every single penny.

A fun way to explore the town and its culture. The guide was great - friendly, knowledgeable, interesting, helpful, and kept an eye out for everybody’s safety. We had two kids in our group and all kinds of different food restrictions (vegetarian, pescatarian, everything-except-onions-itarian) and the guide handled it all without blinking an eye. Plus the food was delicious!

Excellent tour and great food! Visited 3 different restaurants packed with locals, plus smoothie, plus a frozen popsicle, plus local art, plus fruit market.
Only suggestion is if the portions could be much smaller. One taco rather than two. Cut enchilada into smaller bites so can be shared. Too much food made it a little hard to get excited to keep going to the next stop.

Wonderful experience. Angel was a really good guide. One of the elements we loved the most was that he took us off the main beat to where the locals eat, which we wouldn’t have been brave enough to do on our own.

Loved learning about the different types of tacos and history of Yucatàn
I wish we had two desserts and one less taco
The group was really looking forward to trying authentic churros but the popsicles were bomb. I had the pineapple tajin and my one cousin had the coconut both were so good.

This experience didn’t follow the itinerary, especially with not visiting the famous taqueria honorios. The bigger problem is that our tour guide did not tell us this until we had to ask him. If we didn’t ask him he would never have told the group any of the changes he wanted to make on his own. We chose and purchased this tour because of the specific restaurants that were listed in the agenda. Oh well!
