It was all great. Our guide Cesar was amazing. Very knowledgeable on the history of all the places we went, and he went above and beyond. It really is a full day, an extensive tour of Chichen Itza, brief stay and lunch in Valladolid, a beautiful town (Cesar took us on an optional extra to look at an amazing mural in the town hall) and lovely cenote off the beaten track

We had a very stressful morning because of Mexico Kan Tours. The tour company texted us at 8pm the evening before our tour, changing our morning pick-up time from 7:40am to 6:50am. We felt it was extremely unprofessional to push up the pick-up time with less than 12 hours notice (and after business hours). Since the breakfast at our hotel doesn't open until 7am we were left without breakfast (it was also too late in the evening to pick up food for the morning). I would not recommend this tour and I believe there are more professional tour companies in Tulum

Great experience! Well planned and organized. Cezar was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the history and cultures. Vallodolit was charming and the lunch was very good. the cenote was perfect! Our group literally had the whole place to ourselves. If your goal it to just snap some insta selfies you're probably better with an audio tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn about this history and culture.

Our tour guide was great. She gave us history and background of the Mayan culture. The village of Valladolid where we had lunch, the food was delicious and the cenote we swam in. The whole day was great. The only thing that would have been better was to have had our passports to get stamped at Chichen Itzá. You should remind people to bring their passports, if they choose.

The tour was very well planned and in spite of being a 10 hour trip, there were lots of breaks to ensure nobody was tired. We felt safe through the trip and our guide Alonso struck the right balance in being knowledgeable and practical. Chichen Itza is worth a visit (inspite of the heat) and lunch was in a charming restaurant delivering a proper Yucatán experience. Would highly recommend this trip (and our guide, Alonso)!

Memorable Experience - A Must Do!

Every single aspect of this day trip exceeded our expectations. From the prompt pick up to the relaxed pacing of the day … we cannot recommend this excursion enough! It’s about a 2-hour drive from Tulum to Chichen Itza, but our guide, Cesar, helped to pass the time by sharing a detailed history of all the stops we were to make that day. Cesar truly made this trip what it was and we are so grateful for all the knowledge, humor, and patience he shared with us. Chichen Itza was fascinating, Valladolid was refreshing, and the cenote felt like such a unique experience. This was the type of trip that we will reminisce on for years to come!

Cesar was a fantastic guide! We appreciated how knowledgeable he was and the insights he provided during the drive about local history and nature. At Chichen Itza, it was a much more enriching experience to understand more about the structures and the Mayan culture. Lunch was delicious in a fantastic setting. And the cenote was not busy and a perfect way to cool off after a long day. He kept the focus of our teens and they talked about it all days later!

Marco our guide and Gualberto our driver were beyond professional and knowledgeable. A ten hour day with no worries. The restaurant lunch in Vallodolid was fantastic as well as everyone’s taken care and planned to the minute. The tour of the ruins was great and as well as stop at Cenote. My teen daughters loved it all.

It was a fun experience, however the van we were in had very little AC and it was 93° outside. We were all sweating for the two plus hour drive which was miserable. The guide and driver were good. We really enjoyed all three activities but they really need to fix that AC.

What a great experience! Leire and Roberto were great. Leire provided incredible detail explaining all the science behind the ancient Maya ruin and history of the Mayan people and Mexico. Very informative. Lunch was delicious, and the cenote was an amazing experience. Roberto did a great job getting us from point A to Z! Great team and even better tour and experience.

To say this tour was well worth it would be a huge understatement. Our tour guide Iber was fantastic. There are lots of guides at Chichen Itza, but there wasn’t a single guide there who was working harder than Iber. He had several maps, diograms, and photos for reference for us, he explained detailed nuances of Mayan culture and history, while answering every question we had. He also didn’t rush us, we spent over two hours there, and got to see so much more than the average tour would have. He took us to a great restaurant in the heart of Valladolid for lunch. (And this wasn’t your average “tour” lunch, the food was great, and the place was beautiful). The Cenote was amazing and our group basically had the whole place to ourselves. We couldn’t ask for a better time, we did so much in one day. The places they took us to were a few hours from Tulum, so we would have never been able to experience them without this tour. Pick and drop off from our hotel was an also a breeze. These guys are pros, next time we’re here, we won’t even bother looking at other tours. We’ll only be booking with Mexico Kan tours!

Amazing Mexico kan tour

Wonderful trip with Maximo Kan private tour. A little expensive but it’s worth it. Restaurant was really nice, food delicious, Marcos our tour leader was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour occurred for almost 12 hours (11h and 30 min). We visited a Cenote and swam. Highly recommended.

Well organized, benefits of small group at its best. We liked the guide’s story at the Chichen itza very much, however during the trip we heared only few facts. So more general information on Mexico and region we are exploring would make the trip more informative. Stop at Tulum office is also questionable:)

An absolutely wonderful travel experience! The pick-up time was punctual, and the car ride was spacious and cool. Our guide was Daniela, a polite, enthusiastic, and patient individual. He spent half an hour on the road meticulously explaining Mexican culture and the ecosystem to us, then gave us the rest of the time to rest, with some very pleasant music playing in the vehicle. He also gave excellent explanations during our visits and brought along relevant literature and pictures. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was very local and charming, not just some random fast food place. The cenote we visited at the end was beautiful, uncrowded, and we spent a long time swimming there. Finally, after returning to our hotel, we realized that we had forgotten the souvenirs we purchased in the car. We had decided to let it be and didn't mention it to the driver, but to our surprise, we found out the next morning that the driver had proactively returned them to our hotel the previous night! It was a fantastic experience in every aspect, highly recommended. 非常好的体验！！这个团的上限是8个人，我们这次正好8个，大家都是有礼貌的i人，导游Daniela很有礼貌而且讲解的很详细，有拿书和图片边讲解边给大家看，很贴心。路上讲了半个小时，剩下时间给大家休息，路上放的歌也很好听。到了金字塔也是对照的书本文献讲解的，有趣且靠谱。中间到那个小镇吃饭，餐厅非常美，完全不是随便找的凑活的餐厅，味道也很地道。最后的一个天坑非常美，而且我觉得挺小众的因为没见其他团去。谁很清澈，而且人也很少！我感觉就十来个人，体验拉满。整个旅程一点点购物和推销都没有，纯游玩+local美食，自由活动时间也是自己转，很不错。最后！我们把买的纪念品往车上了，因为想着不想麻烦司机就没再联系他们，想着不要了。结果晚上酒店给发消息说司机主动送回来了！真的很好！强烈推荐～

Our guide was wonderful and we had a great time. It was particularly nice to go with a small group, and we got lucky in that none of the locations were crowded. The history at Chichen Itza was amazing, and visiting the cenote at the end was the perfect way to cool off and end the tour. Highly recommended.
