Mehh experience. Tourist traps, beautiful falls

Waterfalls were awesome to behold. Skip kando lampo waterfall it was too crowded. Driver was very disinterested and didn’t really act like a tour guide he just drove for the most part. Took us to a coffee tourist trap as well in a detour. But the experience overall wasn’t too bad as the waterfalls were beautiful k just wouldn’t book from this company again.

Mnk uli was a great tour guide and driver and took us around to several waterfalls! We are not in the best shape and knew there would be lots of stairs, so even though the tour included 4 waterfalls, we picked his brain and decided to go to two (one for photos and to see it, the other to swim in the falls and relax). We ended up visiting Tukad Cepeng first and then Taman Sari second. Both gorgeous locations. And although there were tourists at both, they seemed a little less overrun than some of the other places we were at. I definitely recommend wearing tevas or other water shoes. We were wearing flip flops and were pretty exhausted by the end of the day. Bali Sun Tours were great - we used them for several days of excursions, and I definitely would use them again.

High degree of difficulty

Wayan was a great guide. Spoke good English. He was very flexible since we were unable to do most of the tour due to the difficulty. I would give this tour a 1* if it wasn’t for him and his switching up the itinerary. The company really should’ve explained that it is extremely difficult. We are both in our mid 70s and it was impossible for us to take this tour. Even much younger people would have difficulty with this tour. He took us to the rice paddies and the swings instead and we loved that. The restaurant he chose had a beautiful view over the rice paddies and the food was very good. He stopped at an ATM for us and he stopped at the grocery store for us on the way back to the hotel.

The waterfalls are stunning! It looks amazing and the driver/guide Wayan (also called suparta) was lovley. I had a very good time and can high recommend the tour with him! (he is also an amazing photographer Hihi)
