What To Expect

Begin your evening at the illustrious Restaurant Bristol. Built in 1892, the restaurant's accompanying hotel has hosted guests such as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Teddy Roosevelt, and composer George Gershwin.

Sip an aperitif as you soak up the sophisticated glam of the restaurant. Indulge in three gourmet courses of Austrian fare before heading over to the concert hall. (If preferred, you may choose to dine after the concert.)

The Musikverein is a 5-minute walk from the restaurant, so head there on your own when you’re finished with dinner. Step inside the Musikverein and see for yourself why this venue is considered one of Europe's finest. Inaugurated by Emperor Franz Joseph in 1870, it is now home to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and known for its incredible acoustics.

Settle into your seat as the Vienna Mozart Orchestra begins overtures and arias from some of Mozart’s famous operas, such as 'The Marriage of Figaro' and 'Don Giovanni.' Soak up movements from symphonies including ‘Eine kleine Nachtmusik’ and ‘Symphony No. 40,’ interspersed with select musical pieces by Johann Strauss.

Receive a free Mozart CD at the end of the concert so you can continue enjoying the melodies when you return to your hotel (or to Restaurant Bristol, if you’ve chosen a post-concert dinner).

The concert and seat location were wonderful. The conductor and opera singers were amazing and energetic as well as the violinists. Loved the percussionists the most. The seats are tight though because its a charming older venue that’s beautiful inside. I would skip the dinner portion if i were to do it all again. The dinner was held at the Bristol Hotel which is beautiful and we enjoyed their bar. Before dinner because we arrived early. They give you wonderful snacks with your drinks. At dinner, they charge you for the water, black coffee and the meal was just so so. We enjoyed the appetizer of salmon carpaccio. Service was sub par.

Excellent food and pconcert with the orchestra paying in the costume of Moszart's period. The only down side was rhat the concert was played in an excellent hall adjacent to the Golden Hall.

Dinner was good and actually better than expected. Concert and the evening were very, very commercial. Music was not that good. Crowd was large and due to the weather the concert hall was impossibly hot! Would not recommend this event, however it delivered on the things they advertised.

There were choices for dinner and waiter allowed substitutions. Food well prepared and tasted good. Dinner took about 90 minutes and was not rushed. Concert was very good. Outstanding conductor with a personality that connected with the audience. Seats were not very comfortable but there was leg room and performers were very easy to see. Great acoustics in the venue.

The Mozart classical music concert was great. The venue was beautiful and had good acoustics. A thumbs up for that part of it. The meal was average. We both got the fish and were not really impressed. Although the salad and dessert were good and you are at a table by yourself.

This was a wonderful experience. Dinner at the Hotel was excellent. A marvelous hotel. Food and service were great. The concert hall is a must see in person! Musicians and singer were excellent, great and funny. This was one of our highlights in Vienna. Don't miss it. We really enjoyed it and I highly recommend this activity.

Semi formal attire?

The meal was great at the Hotel Bristol and the music was good. The problem I had was that everything said it was semi formal. I brought a suit coat from the US. When I arrived to the event people were in sneakers, jeans, shorts and even sweatpants. It was warm in Vienna and I would have been much more comfortable in casual clothes. Not quite the elegant evening depicted.

Concert was good, food was awful

Great concert and great atmosphere, def worth it… the performances were great….and would go back again. The food was awful at the Bristol….way too salty, or sweet… and when I asked for the plate to be sent away as my steak was way too salty, they replaced it with a piece of fish that was way too cold and over cooked, the sweet potatoes were terrible and just plain awful… I hope they replace the restaurant as this wasn’t the experience I was looking for… I have emailed the operator but I got a canned response..

The concert was great, but skip the dinner. The food at the Bristol may be good outside of this package, but we were served terrible food. I would advise buying the concert tickets separately and finding a different restaurant.
