The impeccable orchestration and delivery of the Great Maestro Mozart’s music. The opera singers and dancers were a delight as well! It was every bit worth bearing the chilling weather for this concerto! We are from USA California with mostly warm days and some cold nights during winters which dip into the 50 degree temperature status. We loved your beautiful city and above all the culture and significance of which the old world buildings & monuments represent!

This gets a 1 star rating because at 8.20pm, 10 minutes before the consert was due to start, an announcement was made that the concert was cancelled. We are currently arranging to get a refund. Still sound s like a good concert, but we will nevr know.

Last second cancelation without any notice

We arrived 15 minutes before the concert, and at the door they told us the concert was canceled. We were not informed by email or on the application… they offered us a concert on the next day, but we were already leaving Vienna. The only alternative was a concert elsewhere, where we had to take a taxi to make it on time ( and reimbursed upon presenting a receipt later), but in the new venue there were no places left and we had to stay standing. I paid 2 tickets for me and my 70 year old mother, category B, and we finished standing for the whole concert. Please avoid this reservation and go with a more solid one. I ask for a full refund, or I will legally pursue. I paid to be seated on one place, not to be standing in a completely poorer theatre.

Your information needs updating. We travelled across the city arriving at 1.00 to exchange your documents for tickets and found everything locked up. We presented them at the ticket desk and they were accepted, no problem. Apparently the ticket desk only opens 2 hours before the show. The show was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed it

This was a somewhat disappointing night, if it wasn’t for the genuine talent of the musicians I would give it 2 stars. We read the reviews and saw it wasn’t going to be mind blowingly good, but we thought it would just give us a “taste” into opera in Vienna. It definitely doesn’t do even that so if you were like us and wanted to go cheap and cheerful but get a good ish experience, probably best to spend the extra €20-30 and go to something else. To clarify, it isn’t an orchestra. It’s an ensemble at most; 3 violins, a flautist, double bass and cello. I must say each were absolutely talented, that was clear but there was a robotic feel to it as if they do this day in day out. But it was enjoyable, my boyfriend wouldn’t be into classical music and I’m a musician myself so wanted something that would suit us both. They play all the well known classical “hits” which is good in that sense. However the dancers are appalling, so out of sync and SUCH a gimmick. Has an infuriatingly cheap feel to the night because of them, they made some of the dances comical by slapping each other and messing on stage which was felt so inappropriate for an operatic night. However there are LOADS of tourist groups so the American bus loads lapped it up. These groups continuously talked during the performance though and we got the impression this is one of those gigs that cater to groups a lot, so that seems to be the norm. Definitely not a feel of people wanting to come for beautiful music, it was more entertainment and chat and a touristy show. Music itself as I said was grand, great musicians but not at all what we were hoping for even with our low expectations.

I do not think that 3 violinists ,1cello player ,1 double bass player , a flautist and a pianist constitutes an orchestra.The programme only consisted of two thirty minute sessions and we felt rather let down by the musicians not introducing each piece ,especially as we were a multi cultural audience.Having attended a similar venue at another location, we were anticipating another very enjoyable evening however we left rather disappointed.
