An amazing wine tasting experience. Stylianos really takes the time to walk you through how to taste wine and understand the subtle differences. It's a really informative session. He provides a ton of detail on Austria's wine making and history. Stylianos even accommodated us shifting time slots on short notice. This is a must attend for both serious and casual wine enthusiasts.

Stylianos was extremely knowledgeable about Austrian wines and very personable. He also provided written information about the Austrian wine varieties and regions, which was most helpful. An excellent experience recommended early in your visit to Vienna so that you know what to look for and what you and buying.

It was in a nice neighborhood, not far from the Parkring, in a very comfortable and well designed, nicely appointed tasting room. Wine selections were excellent and very representative of local viticulture, and were accompanied by a nice Charcuterie Board. The best thing about the tasting, was our Host, Stylianos. He was not only extremely knowledgeable but friendly and engaging. It was a delightful experience and we’re looking forward to getting some Gruner Veltliner from him in the near future.

Very warm greeting followed by 2 1/2 hours of white and red wines. A whole lot of explanations and anecdotes supported by very pleasant slides. Stylianos is a great passionate expert who shows constant enthusiasm. Thanks again very much for the savoury plate of cheese and ham. We’ll do it again with friends! So take care in the meantime. This was an authentic wine tasting with a knowledgeable wine professional. The wines were top of the line and well selected. We learned a lot about how to identify excellent Austrian wines from the merely good and the not-so-good. The instructor teaches you how to decode the label and how to shop in the future for the wines you enjoy at your price point. This is a great example of “you get what you pay for” and the extra cost compared to other “tastings” advertised is well worth the investment if you enjoy an evening of fine wine and good company. Highly recommend for wine lovers or anyone who wants to learn more about Austrian wines.

A must attend for both serious and casual wine enthusiasts.

Very informative, good wines. We were lucky to have the other couples in our group cancel at the last minute so ended up with a private tasting. Stylianos is very personable and presents the information to meet the level of his guests. He encourages questions and is happy to provide answers. We felt very comfortable and felt like we were talking with someone we had known for a long time. Overall, it was a very good experience and we recommend it for anyone interested in learning about Austrian wines,

This Austrian wine tasting was my favourite experience in Vienna, as well as being the best wine tasting that I have ever enjoyed. Stylianos is a fantastic guide, so informative and charming; the 6 wines that we tasted were all delicious and I learnt so much. The experience was enhanced by delicious cheese and cured meats and we had a booklet on the wine regions and there characteristics to take away. To sum up I could not praise this experience more highly. Totally brilliant!

Stylianos provided a relaxing overview of the wine regions of Austria and the characteristics of the various wines produced there. Six delicious wine samples from the various regions were provided followed by a discussion of what we experienced with each tasting. Lots of fun and learned a bit about how to better appreciate and understand the characteristics of wine in general. Highly recommended.

Our guide Styllanos was courteous, knowledgeable and likeable. The wine cellar was comfortable and Styllanos made everyone feel comfortable. We enjoyed a variety of wines from the region, white and red. The wine cellar was comfortable and the snacks were delicious. I highly recommend this tour.

Wine testing was amazing and very informative about Austrian wines and wine regions. Stylianos was very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about Austrian wines. Since this was our first trip to Austria, we had not idea on what to expect, so we where very impressed by the quality of the wines we tried. We hope to be back some day and repeat this particular experience.

This was the best wine tasting! What a pleasure it was to learn so much about and thoroughly enjoy Austrian wines in this tasting with Stylianos. He is a master of assessing each participant’s level of knowledge about wine and interest in learning more. On top of being incredibly knowledgeable, he is attentive, engaging, and down to earth. The cost is very reasonable and the wines are top notch. Also, the tasting is held in a very charming space. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough.

A Fun and Informative Tasting

Our host Sylianos was great and a joy to have him share stories, information, and wine with. He provided us with a booklet to help us better understand Austrian wine, the regions, the grapes, the classifications, etc... It was a lot of information but that's perfect for both myself and girlfriend's personality. Our tasting ended up being private as the others that had book were unable to make it that day so there were some awkward moments where I think more people giving input would have been nice, but overall a good experience. It was difficult for us to find another tasting where we could learn information about wines and wineries from Austria so although this was a bit pricier, we were glad for the opportunity and to learn.
