Family drama can result in restless spirits

Our guide was Virginia. My favorite part was the stories about the houses around Lafayette Park. Now they are all owned by the US government for security reasons, but were once family homes . Some of the families had some drama! Including Dolly Madison.

The best Ghost Tour in DC!

I like to start every trip in a new city with a Ghost Tour. This one did not disappoint! Our tour guide was filled with very good, history connected, well researched stories! He was in chatacter, complete with costume and very passionate while portraying what had happened at each site. My favorite part is that he showed us a few things that sent chills up my spine which is exactly what I want with a Ghost Tour! I wasn’t sure how my sister would feel about the tour but after the fact, she kept commenting that the Ghost Tour was one of the best parts about our trip to Washington DC! Thank you for an excellent Ghost Tour!

Based on reviews, I did not expect anything to be scary, but I did expect interesting information. Somebody needs to rewrite the script.- very disjointed, hard-to-follow information being yelled at the group by tour guide. Disappointing at best…

Unfortunately this was not a good tour. The guide was very nice, but it was basically walking around the block listening to him tell a few stories. We have been on ghost tours in other towns that were far better.

Don’t trust this tour!

No one showed up for the tour. We wasted our money. I will dispute the charge of $105 on my credit card. We walked up and down the street looking for the man with the lantern, but no one was there.

Ghost Bust

Very bland and underwhelming, the most engaging part was the 15 minutes in the beginning we spent checking in. The tour didn’t have much substance. I think they allow too many people per guide and it made it hard to engage. I thought the stories would be more interesting and our route would take us further. It was advertised that we would walk around a mile but my watch said we did a little over a half mile.

It was eye opening to see the houses that have so much history. Being there in person was the best experience. Tony gave an amazing tour and a wealth of knowledge about this places and the people who lived there.
