Fantastically fun food tour
Angie_M, Apr 2024
My sister and I joined 6 others for this food tour with Brian. He was an excellent guide and made the whole experience a lot of fun. My sister is gluten free and Brian went the extra mile to ensure that she was given options and was happy at each stop. The food was unique and delicious and you will leave stuffed. Brian made the tour so fun that we ended up with group photos and exchanging photos and contact info. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Brian. You won’t be disappointed!
Great small group walking and eating tour of Georgetown
Ben_P, Apr 2024
Great walking and taste tour with Mangia DC and tour guide Christine. She was very knowledgeable about the area and has a passion about food (especially chocolate). We visited 4 great spots including an Ethiopian restaurant (great finger food), local sliders, veggie tacos, and lastly the famous dog tag bakery for a drink and dessert. Well run tour, each place was ready for us with food. Lively conversations with the other guests adds to this tour so don't be afraid to chat and share food stories!
Yummy

Greatly enjoyed the walking food tour. I learned a lot about Georgetown in the process. Especially enjoyed Stachowski's Market.
So glad we did this

I love foodie tours. The history, the architecture, the food. Christine was a great tour guide. She had good energy, the tour was organized and paced well. A very good amount of delicious food.
Great, yummy afternoon in Georgetown!
Phyllis_H, Mar 2024
I highly recommend this tour. We only had four stops, but we felt like we had breakfast, lunch, a light supper and dessert! Brian was our delightful guide for this two and a half hour exploration of Georgetown! He pointed out historical facts, architectural nuances, houses formally owned by famous people, and backgrounds of the featured chefs. There were four couples on our tour which was just the right size group. Loved it!
Yum!

Interesting food. Especialky loved the Brisket Slider from City Sliders! Relaxing walk through Georgetown streets. Brian was friendly, knowledgeable and fun, teaching us about architectural details and history of many homes, including famous past owners. Very glad we did it!
Great tour for the value

Had a great tour with Elizabeth today. She was very sweet, and knowledgeable. She called to check in if I was on my way in case I was running late and needed some wait. That was very nice of her and doesn’t happen very often. We did 4 stops and great amount of walk. I liked most of the food, but dessert was the least favorite, considering I am pretty picky when it comes to the sweets. The tour is a great value.
Great time!

Fantastic way to spend an afternoon in Georgetown
Kelly_H, Sep 2023
Our tour guide, Christine was super knowledgable and brought a ton of energy to the tour. She made it really fun. We stopped at 4 local eateries and got a large portion of food at each. She filled in the walk with interesting and historic facts that really made us see Georgetown in a different light. We loved everything about this tour! The other people on our tour were super fun to talk to as well. I highly recommend!

Christine was a great tour guide and the tour was great. This is the perfect way to get a full glimpse of Georgetown without aimlessly walking. The food was fantastic, this is a must do!
Awesome tour!

This was so much fun! Great guide and great participants. Everyone was so nice. The food was great. I loved the neighborhood tour the most I think. Thanks so much!
Just ok
Paula_H, Jul 2023
Food was just ok. Nothing was really wow. I’ve done several food tours in different cities and this was my least favorite.
Great tour… with delicious food and stories!
Catherine_G, May 2023
Our tour guide McKendry brought the storied neighborhoods of Georgetown to life… and, importantly, led us on a wonderful food adventure! All the food stops were great, including City Sliders, with shockingly good Vegan Banh Mi, and Dog Tag Bakery, with its wonderful service & fun interior.

Paula_B, May 2023
Definitely was full at the end of the tour. Our tour guide, Christine was great! Highly recommend her! There were just 4 stops which would be fine, if every stop was impressive, however the last 2 we were underwhelmed, there was a vegetarian taco stop which had potato in it, which we thought was an odd choice, and the last stop was a bakery where we were served a packaged item instead of a fresh bakery item.
Great tour
colleen_h, Apr 2023
We do a food tour every city we go to, and this was the best by far. The food was full size so you were stuffed, and the tour guide was awesome, very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend A++
