Tours begin on time, your tour check-in time is important. You must check-in 15 minutes prior to tour departure time. We can not guarantee we can accommodate late customers.
Not wheelchair accessible
Bike headlights and reflective vests are provided for safety.
Tours may be canceled if the weather makes for dangerous riding conditions.
Trailer carriages and trailer tandems are available for children not old enough or comfortable on their own bike
To ride in a trailer carriage, the child needs to be able to hold up their head up and wear a helmet

Near public transportation
Participants will ride approximately 5 miles over a period of three hours. It is appropriate for the casual exerciser.
Not recommended for travelers with back problems
No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
Most travelers can participate
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Joe was a fantastic guide. The kids loved him. They were thrilled to see him leading another tour a couple days later, which had them waving a chanting his name. This was a great way to see the city and get our bearings on our first night in town. Well done Joe!

Memorable bike tour with Matt!

We recently took Matt's bike tour around the National Mall, and it was fantastic! Matt's knowledge and engaging storytelling kept both adults and kids captivated throughout. The kids were especially impressed by how he made history come alive while exploring landmarks like the Lincoln Memorial and WWII Memorial. The biking pace was perfect, allowing us to see so much more than we could have on foot. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an interactive and enjoyable way to see the National Mall!

A full three hours in the evening, cycling around the National Mall and Pennsylvania avenue was an intimidating prospect with two kids however, everyone had a brilliant time. Lead by Dae, an obviously experienced cyclist, we covered all areas and monuments at a reasonable pace. The best compliment came from our son who summed it up as "it was really good to see all of National Mall in the daytime but it was amazing to see it all at night". Just do it. You will enjoy every minute.

Joe was an excellent guide! I have done bike tours all of the world and this blew my mind! I would do it again if I came back and highly recommend it! A lot of the monuments were empty and it was beautiful.

The first thing, the Tour guide. Eric was pleasant, and easy to understand. He was well rehearsed. But the outfit as a whole was a fail. They didn’t provide basic safety gear. They provided front white lights, that were so dim they were useless. We rode through very dark areas! No safety vests were provided. The bikes were in need of repair, some wouldn’t shift, others the brakes were not working properly. The helmets were purely for show. I doubt any of them would pass for safety. Find a different outfit. Great idea, but lacking safety overall!

We learned a lot of great fun facts about American history and DC in general. The evening tour was nice because you start out in daylight seeing things but then you get to watch the sun set and the lights come on to light up the various monuments. Beautiful! The bikes are the best way to see a lot quickly compared to a walking tour.

Excellent bike tour of all National Mall Memorials. The tour guide was knowledgable and friendly. Our group was large, so I would recommend two tour guides, one in the back and one in the front, with walkie talkies. There was a short time our group was separated due to some members not knowing how to operate their E-bike. Fortunately we found each other. There was also one VERY TIGHT TURN at the end of the tour in which one of our members fell off the bike. However, the group ahead did not stop due to not knowing what happened. It would be good to have a "sweep" in the end to ensure the safety of all members.

So cool to see all the monuments at night!!! Ride is flat and easy. Would recommend bringing water and a headlamp—the lights on the bikes weren’t very bright and there was no water on the trip.
