Awesome experience

The highlight of our trip was our guide- Smokey- he was excellent and had so much knowledge of all the monuments and shared his first hand experience with the son of a fallen veteran on the Vietnam wall as well as so much more! If you can request Smokey you will have a great Washington DC experience! We took the evening tour and it was awesome!

Great potential, but was very disappointing

Our tour was disappointing for the amount of money that we paid for the tickets. First and foremost our tour did not follow the advertised stops. There were at least 8 stops that we didn’t see. You need to update the online list of stops to reflect the tour. Additionally, the tour was advertised as capped at 13. There was more like 25 people on the tour. Our guide was kind but, his commentary was more personally motivated rather than informative. The volume was also very low on the bus, so we couldn’t hear him. We asked him to turn it up often and he still didn’t make it loud enough. Also the tour is advertised to last 3 hours but it lasted 4 hours. This kind of information we need to know. We had high hopes but it was unfortunately disappointing.

Our tours are only for 3 hours, however they can go over the time depending on the amount of guests. Some of the guests spend more than the allocated time at the stops which takes us over the 3 hours. The amount of guests will also determine the vehicle that we use. Amazing small night tour of Washington DC!

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history and monument sites. He was very friendly and courteous. He made sure all participants had a voice in the timing and locations they especially wanted to see. He was foreign born and his love for the US was contagious as we traveled through the city.

Washington DC night tout

Regis was on timing waiting for us. The tour was on a small bus, 13 people. Regis is a wealth of knowledge about DC. You can tell he loves what he does. We visited so many monuments at night. He made sure we were safe getting in and out of the car. Good reminder to be safe. Regis provided us with so much information and trivia it was the best tour I have had in DC

Do not book this trip!

The driver did not show up. When messaged the company was told he was on his way then 15 minutes later told he had overslept so we would need to re-book! No apology either! At least we got a refund. You would be better booking one of the other night tours with the local operator directly.

We truly understand your frustration and we apologized for the inconvenience caused by one of our drivers/guides by using the phone of the other family who was supposed to attend the tour with you because you didn’t have a local phone number. The phone number which you gave Viator was from 🇬🇧 GB 447-772-535-****.We suggested to reschedule the tour for the next day and you said you would contact us. We later received an email from you expressing your frustration. We didn’t even think twice about refunding your money. We can’t control the way our employees manage their time when they are not working. Our driver/guide contacted us around 6:45pm to let us know that he fell asleep on the train and missed his stop. We contacted you and all the other guests to inform you. We refused to let you wait 30 minutes to 1 hour for him to arrive at the pick up location. That is why we decided to cancel the tour and give a refund to those guests who were not willing to reschedule their tour. This is called integrity! It’s very interesting to manage human beings! This was a great tour - our guide and owner of the company took great care of us putting us the perfect spot to get out of the van and see the monuments and attractions. He gave clear directions and enough time for each stop so we felt like we were able to see everything and had enough time to take it all in. Highly recommend this option for seeing the monuments and DC highlight at night!

We had planned to walk the monuments. It ended up being very windy so we decided to book this tour at the last minute. Our guide, Mr. Kareem was FANTASTIC! The company has very nice, clean vans. Our tour had about 13 people on it. It was the perfect amount for a more intimate experience. I was shocked by all of the history and fun, less known details that Kareem told us. He’s a wealth of knowledge! He also told us little things about the monuments and things to look at that you would not think or know about on your own. Well worth the money!

Not what we paid for.

We signed up for a tour that was supposed to be capped at 13 people. We wanted the smaller tour due to some mobility difficulties. Instead we ended up on a bus with 55 people. We tried to stay together toward the front of the bus but others were not happy with that so we were separated during the tour. The tour guide was great but it was not a tour I would have signed up for had I known.

We provide large and small groups tours if we have more than 100 guests we will bring our vans and buses. We can’t assign over 100 guests in one or two vans. The demand is high because we provide a quality service. We glad to hear that the Guide was Great, when we used to have one van some guests was complaining of the size and capacity of passengers. And now we have buses and vans some guests still complaining. If you can even imagine how much that cost to own a bus you would think twice before complaining about a coach bus. We listen our guests and get better. This is the reason why we decided to expand our fleet. Glory to God who’s our PROVIDER! Respectfully, Régis

My husband and I only spent a short time in DC so we booked a night tour because we felt like it was the most efficient way to see all of the monuments/memorials. We joined 12 other people and Smokey (our guide) in a 15-passenger van. Smokey did a GREAT job guiding us. He was a great storyteller and very knowledgeable. We loved the personality and uniqueness he brought to the tour. It did last longer than 3 hours, but we loved every minute of it and would do it again in a heartbeat. My husband’s only regret is not having more cash to give him a bigger tip. We highly recommend this tour and Smokey as a guide! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not the Highlight it Could Have Been

We booked this tour based on TA reviews and the small size of the tour. We all looked forward to this tour and wanted to love it. But all 3 of us wished we chose a different tour. Pros: We visited many sights in DC and it was amazing to see the city under the lights. The owner Regis has an incredible amount of knowledge about the monuments and memorials. Cons: Regis has a very strong accent and the vibration of the mic made him very difficult to understand. The sequence of the tour made it difficult to see some of the sights (ie. we went to the MLK, FDR and Marine Corps War Memorial / Iwo Jima after it was dark - there are really no lights around them and walking was difficult in the dark). Last comment - while Regis always asked if we had questions when we returned to the van, he did not accompany us like other groups we saw). The tour description says "This small group tour, capped at 13 people, makes for a personal experience". That is what we expected. We received a text telling us we would be on a bus with 55 people. When we replied to the text noting our expectation of a small group - we were switched to the small van. When we arrived - the owner greeted us with - "oh you are the people who complained". This was in front of a rather large group of people and not the best way to start an experience. There are many of these night tours - pick another one.
