What To Expect
Meet a driver at your Zagreb hotel or central meeting point, then board a climate-controlled vehicle.
The first stop of the day is the village of Rastoke, a historic community at the confluence of the Slunjčica and Korana Rivers. Walk through the village to see traditional watermills and old-fashioned riverside houses, built from limestone and wood.
Continue to Plitvice Lakes National Park for a guided hike that explores some of its 16 lakes, which are linked by waterfalls. See the Lower and Upper Lakes on foot, then board a train for a brief, but scenic, tour.
The last Plitvice Lakes adventure is a boat cruise across Kozjak Lake, which is surrounded by thick evergreen forest (train and boat service are suspended from November through March, when tours of Plitvice Lakes National Park are on foot).
At the end of your day in Plitvice Lakes National Park, begin the return trip to Zagreb, where this tour concludes at drop-off at your original departure point.

- In Pltivice lakes we visit all of the Lower lakes and the highlights of the Upper lakes (approximately 8,5 kilometers/ 5 miles walk)
- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities
- Infant seats available
- Please note: November 1st through March 31st, the panoramic vehicle and electric boats do not operate. Tour will be operated on foot during these periods.

- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The Plitvice Lakes tour was one of the best I have ever done. The park and its natural beauty made us breathless. There was so much to take in and it just kept going on and on, like a Disney park for waterfalls and gorgeous peaceful views. In addition, our guide Goran was friendly, and EXTREMELY knowledgable about all aspects of the tour as well as the history of the region, Zagreb in general and basically he had a great answer for anything we asked him. Anyone would be lucky to get this guide! Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Great experience. It was a bit cold and rainy, but we made the best of it. Renato was very patient with us as we dealt with the elements. He carried umbrellas and rain jackets (supplied by tour) for us. He knew the best route through the park to avoid the crowds. After he gave a bunch of recommendations for the rest of our trip that we enjoyed.

The natural beauty was awesome. Such a well preserved park with the clearest water I’ve ever seen. The walking paths bring you next to the waterfalls. The first stop before the park in Restoke showed off the charm of the area
Our guide Dinko, was knowledgeable and led us on a great pace.

Joined this tour as a solo traveler and had a wonderful time. I was blown away by the incredible beauty of the national park, and very much enjoyed the hike. Our tour guide did a great job of balancing the differing accessibility needs of the group while allowing more experienced hikers to move at their own pace. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to genuinely love her job. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get out of the city and experience Croatia’s natural beauty.

She came on time. Picked us up. She is also a driver cum guide. Her knowledge on all the subjects I mean all the subjects were fantastic!!
She took care of us so well. There was a guest who was not so mobile but the way she took care her was amazing. Ms Maya is very professional, friendly and has enormous patience. The plitvice lakes are fantastic!! It was our dream. It happened a reality. Ms Maya deserves promotion or increment. Thanks to one and all.

The guide/driver was awesome although that really should be two people so the guide doesn't have to scream at the windshield for 2 hours each way. SoThe tour was awesome. However, booking through Viator is a nightmare.

Ivan is an excellent guide! He is very knowledgeable. He adjusted to our pace. He was prepared with extra sweaters for anyone feeling cold. He also had a first aid kit and helped one of our tour group who had fallen.
