- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

This was a great day trip to the islands! You're initially given a tour of the fort with an explanation of the history. The snorkelling was good fun and the first island is a nice relaxing spot. Cholon Island wasn’t the greatest but the final island where you’re given lunch has a beautiful beach! The speedboat can be very quick in the waves which was enjoyable for me personally. I would definitely recommend this trip!

While we enjoyed this trip, especially the snorkeling and seeing various islands, there are a few things to be aware of. First, our boat broke down after the first stop. They were able to get a replacement out to us in less than an hour, but then told us we would have to cut some of the experiences short. This is not acceptable. Second, the “included” lunch was somewhat of a scam. We had a
“Budget” and was told we could pick chicken or veg lunches as part of the deal. While the meal was good, we were later told that we needed to pay the difference between the “allowance” and what we ordered. The difference was more than I would have paid for the meal in the first place. Others in our group had the same issue come up and the tour eventually didn’t have us pay the difference. The fourth stop was at a “party island” where you basically sat around a table in the water drinking for an hour. I would rather have spent more time snorkeling. Overall, it was a good enough experience. The islands are beautiful and it was a good full day activity in Cartagena. The downsides just made it less than excellent.

Lack of care overall from the guide. 1 bottle of water for a whole day. We leave at 7am and eat at 3pm.
Too much sun, most of us got sunburn because there is not that many opportunities to protect yourself from the sun.

*LONG REVIEW*
From beginning to end this excursion was not enjoyable. My partner and I arrived at the meetup point early to meet our guide Alex and other guest. After everyones arrival we gathered near the pier to board our boat but our boat was not ready. We had to wait an hour and a half while other groups left to start their excursion. Our boat finally arrived and was smaller and older than any other excursion groups boats. Due to the extremely late arrival of our boat we were promised extra time throughout our island stays which we definitely got more time than we had ever hoped on our last stop. After successfully stopping at the first 3 islands, our boat broke down as we left island #3. We floated on to a nearby island which took an extremely long time. A gentleman from another boat tried to fix the issue but to no avail. All of this time goes by and our tour guide Alex never spoke up on what was going on and how it would be remedied. We became anxious, scared and upset as time went on. The boat was never fixed but we went on to the 4th island and were promised a boat after our extra time at the island. What was supposed to be a 1 hour and 15 minute island stay turned into 3 hours because no boat had come to pick us up. Again we wait with no information as to what was going on. We had to go and find our tour guide to get answers which he claimed he didn't have. Aside from boat issues, prices at island #4 were ridiculously outrageous with a 50% price markup/service charge if you deal with a waiter. After waiting several hours all tourist have left the island and the sun was starting to set, we finally get a boat. The remainder of the excursion was cancelled. We didn't leave the island until 5pm. Once we were on the boat we were elated to be going back but to our surprise our lives were surely in danger as the boat was going so fast and waves were splashing all over us, the other guest were shouting at the tour guide and the boat driver to slow down as we feared for our lives. I will not be booking an excursion of any kind for a while after an experience such as this one. I have reached out for a refund because our tour was cut short and truly a scare and inconvenience to our lives. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS EXCURSION AT ALL

The boarding process was chaotic. There were too many boats trying to leave at the same time. There were hundreds and hundreds of people on the dock pushing and shoving trying to get to the correct boat in the muggy heat.
The tour was good and interesting. Only thing to be aware of was that at only 2 of the 5 stops was there a pier to get on and off. I would not recommend for older or less mobile people. But the guides were nice and helpful.

"I had an AMAZING experience with Charlie as my tour guide! He truly is the BEST! From the moment the tour began, Charlie was incredibly informative about each location we visited. Terrible experience. Never again. Not sure if the boat driver was just mean slamming us into waves or if was trying to show off his driving skills. I have fone on various cruises and this is by far extremely inhumane.
Then we were left stranded on Baru Island where the vendors hounded you and their scam tactics on another level. The food served was pathetic! Cold food with flies swarming around you.
After so much time sitting around- they had to call in buses to ‘EVAcUAte’ us from this terrible experience.

Overall the tour was fun and enjoyable, and the staff were excellent. The first stop was on an island with some kind of historical significance, but the history was poorly explained and we walked around it in the blazing sun for 45 minutes with zero shade. I think this stop needs to be taken off of the tour, as it provides little to no value. The rest of the island stops were fun and relaxing, and the snorkeling was also a fun activity.

on our way back at the end our boat ran out of gas......i have attached photos as well, we had to wait an hour and half for another boat to come get us..during the wait it was SOO choppy out and i got sea sick and so did several others. then they kept saying the boar will arrive in 5 mins...didnt come for 1.5 hours. then the boat we had to climb over to, needed more gas so we had to stop on the way back for more gas. all in all we were supposed to be back 3hours before the time we did get back which ruined the rest of the night because one i got sick, two the reservations we missed.
We went to five islands, yes, but you are only on each island almost 30 mins only..by the time you get off, find a sat, order a drink its time to go, its not even enjoyable or fun. party island was cool but again, didnt even get to enjoy it as the drinks and service took forever.

Our trip was shortened because our tour guide left the pier 30 minutes late. He said he had to get permission to leave but we had all arrived on time. The entire tour felt rushed and not worth the money we paid. The tour guide himself was very friendly helpful and courteous. I just feel like this should have been more organized and planned better.
