Creating each pot is a unique moment. The ability that clay gives you from a piece of amorphous matter to create objects that will make everyday life more beautiful give it invaluable value. The hours I go to the atelier are for me a source of energy and relaxation, and that’s what I’m looking for those who visit my atelier. The workshop is located 16 kilometres from Heraklion ( acces only with car ), in a unique location in the nature, with a spectacular view of Cretan mountains. The area around offers many opportunities for walking and visiting the nearby villages.

Our day starts around 9am which is the pickup time. When everybody is on board we will be heading towards Azogires village enjoying the natural beauty of Crete, the drive will be about 1:30 hours and then we will be visiting the 99 Holy Fathers cave and sacred tree! Our day continues with snacks along the way before leaving and heading to Paleochora. At this point food is going to be our next stop, coming back to Paleochora we will go straight to an amazing local food restaurant to have a full experience of the place. After we are done eating we will be heading to Krios beach he pristine turquoise waters of Krios beach beckon, providing a serene and tranquil escape. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of this idyllic setting, allowing the cares of the world to fade away. This excursion is considered to be an experiential, spiritual and cultural experience. Traveler throughout the visit in Arkadi Monastery will get in touch with the history from the greek revolution and the greek orthodox religion. The next destination is Margarites village, which is a small and picturesque village famous for its pottery art. The tradition of pottery goes back many generations in this village and guests will be able to experience the procedure from a local artist and watch how the pots are hand thrown. After that guests will have free time to wander around the village. Next stop is the Honey museum where they will learn how locals produce honey and they will have a chance to taste local products. Last stop is Melidoni village and Melidoni cave where they can see its unique natural beauty, learn the prestigious history, hear the numerous legends deeply rooted in the time, and admire the its heirlooms and thesaurus richness.
