Things to know before you go

  • Emirates Stadium is a must-visit for Arsenal fans.

  • Booking Emirates Stadium tickets in advance is a good idea, as Arsenal matches do sell out. You must book stadium tours in advance.

  • Tours last around an hour. Audio guides are available in 10 different languages.

  • There is an admission fee to visit the Arsenal Museum, but tour participants visit for free.

  • There is a selection of bars and food vendors in each stand, as well as free Wi-Fi.

  • Visitors may not bring large bags and suitcases into the stadium. 

  • The stadium is wheelchair accessible.

How to get there

Emirates Stadium is located in north London, a short walk from the Arsenal Station and the Holloway Road Station, both on the Piccadilly line of the London Underground. Note that on match days, Holloway Road station closes before matches and opens for departures only after matches. The Finsbury Park station is also nearby and has train and tube services.

Emirates Stadium architecture

Emirates Stadium was designed by HOK Sport and cost an impressive £390 million to build, with seats for up to 60,365 fans. The state-of-the-art stadium, which opened in 2006, features a striking glass-and-steel facade that is dramatically lit at night. Additional highlights include 12 murals depicting memorable moments in Arsenal's history and statues of famous Arsenal stars, including captain Tony Adams, strikers Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, and manager Herbert Chapman.
