Cooking Classes at Casa Emma represent a very unique food and wine experience, perfect if you want to learn more about traditional Tuscan cuisine and food and wine pairing. As soon as you arrive, you will be welcomed by a wine expert who will follow you during the whole experience, starting from a tour in the cellar, where you can learn more about the company philosophy and the winemaking. Then, you will meet our Chef (English speaking) who will guide you through the different stages of the food preparation, by using only Tuscan raw materials. The recipes selected by our Chef include: pasta (ravioli, tagliatelle…), Pizza Margherita and a dessert, but we are ready and open to meet every request! Just before eating, our wine expert will explain to you all the products made in the farmhouse: our extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and 5 different types of wine to pair with food. The minimum number of participants for this experience is 2 people, up to 12.

Meet our licensed guides and your professional photographer for the day at Podere La Marronaia at 09:30 AM and go to the nearest truffle area. With the help of our 4-legged friends, magnificently trained, and the experience of Mirco and Luca, our trusty truffle hunters, immerse yourself 360 degrees in this unique and exciting experience while the photographer will capture the most significant moments of the hunting. Then, return to Podere La Marronaia and enjoy a truffle-based lunch with a tasting of 4/5 organic & biodynamic wines and 6 extra virgin olive oils. Attention, the truffle hunting area is around a 10/15-minute drive from our winery. Guests should arrange the transfer by themselves. We also advise you to wear trekking shoes and comfortable clothes.
