You will be in first person, accompanied by our staff and very nice dogs, to look for truffles in our truffle forest, next to the green vineyards in the Chianti countryside. You will experience unique emotions by learning to search, recognize and clean the precious truffles. During the truffle hunt, and the subsequent cooking class you will learn in first person to manipulate the truffle, making dishes with our cook who will teach you all the secrets of how to taste it, eat it or keep it. Have lunch in a tuscan winery, tasting the wines produced by the winery for over 13 generations. All completed by visiting the medieval city of San Gimignano, for shopping and to admire the wonders of history and the City. The Experience will start with a tour of our vineyard and olive groves; following a member of the family will briefly introduce you few notions about truffles. During the experience, guests will learn the secrets of truffles, how to clean them and different ways to cook them. We will start with the preparation of antipasti, fresh homemade pasta and a second course that will include the preparation of pork filet with truffle slices and balsamic glaze flavored with truffle, and of course a tasty dessert. At the end of the afternoon in the kitchen, you will relax in one of our private and exclusive rooms while tasting all the things that you’ve cooked paired with our organic wines and extra virgin olive oils.

The Saffron DOP Cooking class will start with a short introduction to our farm in front of our Vernaccia vineyard, one of the oldest in San Gimignano. Then, you will be accompanied to our family kitchen to learn the secrets of this typical and traditional product of San Gimignano. We will prepare a Saffron-based dessert, a saffron-based homemade pasta, a saffron-based meat course, and antipasti. At the end of the class, you will relax in one of our private and exclusive rooms or our garden, enjoying everything you’ve cooked and tasting our organic and biodynamic wines and e.v.o. Olive oils.
