Good - could be cheaper
Overall not bad, hike is good and post restaurant overlooking lake Coatepeque is nice relaxation after the hike

Santa Ana and the lake are a must see when visiting El Salvador!
Santa Ana and this day trip is a must when visiting! Francis (our tour guide) was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, organized and fun! The hike may be challenging for some in small areas but overall pretty easy to complete and the view was beautiful looking down into the crater. Lunch at the lake also had beautiful views and was very good!

What an Adventure
Rafael gave us a lot of facts through our whole trip and we truly enjoyed it! The hike up the volcano is not for everyone. It was a tough one for us. We made it and it was worth it but would prob not do that again lol. Lunch was at a great restaurant overlooking Lake Coatepeque. The tour details said we would get to swim but we jst ate and that was it. That was disappointing but overall a great experience.

Great experience for tourists!
We booked this tour at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us. We were staying with family members so we had to travel to a main hotel in order for them to pick us up and drop us off. So your pickup location matters. Our group consisted of 8 people (including the 2 of us). Our guide David was extremely accommodating, knowledgeable, and nice. Overall, we had a great experience.
