Discover Mallorca’s famous underground system of limestone caverns during a tour of the Caves of Hams. The Caves of Hams are located a half-mile northeast of the resort town of Porto Cristo, on the road to Manacor. Tours of the cave are offered frequently throughout the day. Most visitors arrive as part of a guided tour, but some do arrive via taxi or with a rental car.
The caves are open all year round, with limited hours during the winter months. The most popular time of year to visit is during the summer months, when Mallorca experiences a boom in tourism. Travelers may want to book ahead of time during these peak months. To avoid the crowds, plan a visit during the shoulder season including the spring and fall months.
