A little pricey but worth it!

After some days of rain, it wasn’t certain that the flight would go. No other flights had been up that day, so conditions were uncertain. As soon as got above a low cloud ceiling, there Denali was! We had amazing views of the big mountain and adjacent peaks. Then the flyover over several glaciers and glacier landing. Bucket list. Was amazing. Highly, highly recommend. Could stop smiling and talking about the trip.

An excursion of a life time.

I am a handicapped person in a wheelchair and decided to book this excursion anyway. The actual day of our flight the weather was not very good and was raining and cloudy. There was a change in aircraft and I was not able to go on the first flight with my wife and neighbors. needless to say they went up and had an incredible flight. The clouds cleared enough to be able to see Mt. Denali and were able to take several beautiful photos of the mountain. Meanwhile I waited and was able to go up in the next round of flights. The pilot and ground staff lifted me into the airplane and got me situated in my seat. My wife was allowed to go up for a second flight to accompany me. We had an awesome time. This flight was supposed to land on a glacier but due to the low cloud level we were not able to accomplish that. However the flight was incredible and the pilot was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining what we were seeing. The whole experience was top notch. I must give a shout out to Amanda who works in the check in area. She went way above and beyond in helping me settle in and feel comfortable while I waited for my wife and friends to get back from their flight. She was instrumental in allowing my wife to accompany me on my flight. Over all it will be a day that I'll never forget. I would recommend this excursion by Talkeetna Air to anyone that is going to visit Alaska.

This was perhaps the best, most memorable vacation moment ever. Our pilot, Melissa was nothing short of a Rockstar! If you'd like a positive role model for your daughter, why not pick the woman that lands planes on a glacier! It's amazing to see her narrate and fly with contagious enthusiasm and gentle calmness. The experience was nothing short of magical. 10 out of 10! Worth every penny.

Coolest thing I have ever done in my entire life! Worth every penny. The entire experience and every staff member I spoke to were outstanding! Do this! You will not be sorry. I have never been on a small plane. It was very comfortable with minimal turbulence.

The most memorable part was being able to hear “snow settling” ( which sounded like a plane)- hoa worked for the address, departed on time, knowledgeable pilot/guide, beautiful landing. The weather didn’t cooperate so we did not see Denali ( which was the reason we took the trip) so felt a bit disappointed. Would do again if only interested in landing on glacier/ Ariel views of the park- would not do if only interested in seeing Denali peak.
