Just to clarify a couple of things for the people who read these reviews.
We had an injured guide who couldn't walk.
The contact number we had for you wasn't working.
We emailed to try and connect with you.
The outrageous weather was proving very difficult to safely run a walking tour. The rest of the tour group were stranded because their flight was delayed and when I asked you three times how long you would be in Auckland for I got no response. Yes I had to cancel the 2:30 departure at short notice. If I had had any answers to my emails, I would have been able to ascertain whether I could come and host you personally an hour or two later or whether you would have preferred to stay on a group booking. You just asked to be refunded and leapt onto google and Tripadvisor to complain. Meanwhile in the background, we were trying to move mountains to get something happening for you. Sometimes things go wrong and we will always make it up if we can. You were offered a complimentary tour too.
I'm sorry we couldn't meet expectations this time. Lots of things conspired against us. The health and Safety of our guests and guides is paramount to my business.
