Vi visste att vi var i slutet av lavendelsäsongen, men vi ville ändå ha erfarenheten och lära oss om processen. Den här turnén säkerställde att vi fick förstahandstillgång till processen och ett lavendelfält som fortfarande blommar samtidigt som vi lät oss utforska tre lokala städer och tillbringa tid på egen hand. Det perfekta sättet att utforska och lära. Nicolas var den perfekta guiden och mycket kunnig. Han gav oss bra information och hade en välplanerad dag.

Detta var en av de bästa dagsturerna för små grupper jag har gjort. Veronica och hennes man är så välorganiserade, man kan säga att de har gjort sin forskning för att ge sina gäster så mycket som möjligt av sin dagstur i denna region beroende på tid på säsongen. Det är så välplanerat från varaktigheten i varje stad, till läget för lavendelfälten och insiderkunskapen när du besöker lavendelfarmen. Jag njöt verkligen av att kunna stänga av och bara besöka platserna hon tog oss till utan att behöva oroa mig för att organisera något. Vår grupp kom väldigt bra överens så att vi kunde knyta nya vänskaper! Gruppstorleken är helt perfekt till en mycket rimlig kostnad också. Tack så mycket killar!

Vi hade en underbar heldags lavendelturné med Veronica. Vi var en härlig grupp på 8 och hade en fantastisk tid. Veronica stoppade oss i underbara lavendelfält där vi var de enda som tog in alla vackra landskap och lyssnade på binas surrande! Hon är mycket begåvad och förklarade allt för oss på perfekt engelska, tyska, franska och italienska! ! Vi stannade till i de vackra byarna Gordes och Rousillon … . helt enkelt fantastiskt! ! En perfekt dag!

The best Lavender tour from Provans! Nicolas is very knowledgeable about lavender varieties and took us to several fields where we took pictures and enjoyed the landscape in full bloom. Visited and shopped at the Senanque Abbey and charming villages of Gordes and Roussillon with the best lavender ice cream at Les Glaces de Roussillon en Provence - near to where the car was parked. On the way back, we again stopped at another lavender field. Ample time allocated at each location. Comfortable AC car with a small group. Timely pick-up from a central location. Nicolas offered to take our pictures and also provided insights and history about the towns we visited. He refilled our water bottles for free. Thank you for the most amazing lavender tour!

Excellent Day Trip

This was an excellent day trip. Our driver and guide Nico made sure we saw a few lavender fields which we told him our main reason for visiting Provence. He also advised us on how to spot the right lavender products and where to get them at the best prices. He took us to three of the classified “most beautiful villages” in France: Gordes, Rousillion, and Menerbes. He gave us introduction to each of these places. He dropped us off the entrance of each town so we were free to wander about and do our shopping for products unique to Provence. I highly recommend this day trip.

Had an amazing day! Just in 9 hours we managed to see so much I felt overwhelmed with emotions. Lavender fields themselves were picture perfect, a dream coming true, but small cute villages where we went on our way there were a great addition to the experience. Nicholas took such a good care of us! Made sure that we got the most out of the day. I had a time of my life. Thank you so much!

Excellent tour

The tour is wonderful. Our guide Nicolas was very knowledgable. The highlight of this tour is defintely the lavender fields. We had a chance to visit a private field and we had entire field to just 4 persons. IT was perfect. We also visited Saint Abbeye which was good, then Gordes (not a huge fan of this city ), then we had a lunch break at Rousillon and had enough time to visit the lovely trail of ocres. We ended our tour at a museum where we had a chance to understand the process of producing essential oils from lavender. Nicolas also suggested us places from where we should buy souvenirs and where it can be expensive. He also suggested some nice restaurants in Rousillon. We loved this tour and would defintely recommend it to future travellers to Avignon and Provence

We enjoyed our tour tremendously. Our tour guide Veronica was super friendly and bubbly, that made our tri even more enjoyable. Our group was consisted of people that spoke English, French, and Italian, Veronica was fluent in all three languages and was able to take time to explain everything. A big thank you to Veronica, we highly recommend.

Fabulous Guided Tour Of Lavender Fields And Villages East Of Avignon

We had a great one day tour hosted by Nico (ProVans Tours). Tour showed up in time and we had a comfortable, clean van with air conditioning for the day which was very pleasant. Nico's English was very good and his narration throughout was friendly and informative and he was happy to answer any questions. This tour was their Violet tour which was a route of 175kms, The pacing was great and we had enough time at all the scheduled stops the museum, Senanque, Gordes, Rousillion and Sault. We are a bit early for the lavender to be in full bloom but Nico managed to find us some fields which were close and made excellent photos. Gordes was lovely and the restaurant recommendations were fab, Rousillion was also lovely and the hike around the ochre path was spectacular. All in all this was a great tour which we highly recommend and can't thank Nico and Veronica enough for making this such a great trip. The restaurant recommendations and places to see in Avignon were also very helpful and added to our enjoyment of the town. Merci beaucoup!

Very impressed by the personal service from Provans tours. They offered to pick me up at a location more convenient for me even though a little outside the city walls. Great informative commentary along the way and plenty of time to visit each place. Nico went out of his way to find remaining lavender fields since more than 80% of the lavender had already been harvested; he also offered to take pictures of each of us with the lavender back drop. Loved that we stopped by a working lavender distillery and got to watch the distillation of lavender. Would highly recommend this tour. Vans was great with individual air conditioning vents that were adjustable above each seat. Very nice to have when temperatures 100 degrees in Provence!

This tour is a must if you are visiting Provence to see the lavender. We took this tour in July at the height of the lavender season. Veronica our guide was terrific. She was knowledgeable and made great efforts to make this tour a memorable one for us. Nicola, our tour guide was excellent. When we though the lavender has been chopped off, he could actually find a very nice spot of lavender field that have not been chopped off.
