Tianna was a fabulous pilot & tour guide. Along the flight path she pointed out & described the areas we were passing. We were lucky enough to fly over a small pod of 3 humpback whales & a whale shark.

Our pilot, Tiana, was very knowledgeable about all that was on display during our trip. She ensure that all onboard were able to see the views without obstruction. All in all, the trip was memorable and I would recommend anyone to go for this experience.

Our tour included Tour of volcano and pass by three water falls. We were just taken to volcano and back. We did not get to see any waterfalls. Pilot told us upon asking that today he is not going take us there!! We are discussing this matter with viator.

We had Allen as our pilot. He was absolutely fantastic - very knowledgeable on the volcano’s and surrounding geographical features. Very friendly, cracking jokes. Also Lindsey and Vicky were brilliant administrators. The flight itself was phenomenal. Such a cool experience to be able to see these volcanoes and waterfalls. Thank you Paradise Helicopters.

We had the opportunity to take this tour with doors on or off, and decided to do the doors off tour. It was rather windy when we took off, but our guide was amazing! While she has only been flying helicopters for 5 years, she was extremely knowledgeable about the various volcanic eruptions, how the island has been growing due to the various lava flows, and general information about the volcanic activity on the island. We ran into some rain on the way back, but the views were majestic. By the end of the tour, I was no longer scared of being in the helicopter and enjoyed the amazing views of the lava fields, shoreline and waterfalls. We even followed the chain of craters road for a bit, so we had an aerial view of the interior of non-active volcanos that others were viewing from ground level. This was definitely a bucket list item, because how often do you view an active volcano from a helicopter. Great tour!

Amazing flight. We had the doors off and while there was no big eruptions during our time, you could certainly feel the heat of the volcano below. We flew really close to the crater and you could see the hot lava bubbling. Our pilot flew over the old lava flows going down the mountain into the ocean. All the activity that has happened in the past was amazing to see it all first hand and from above was awesome. We flew over the waterfalls on our way back to the helipad. Fantastic experience that we would not get to have in New Zealand. Recommend to all. Great 45 minutes of our holiday. Doors off a must, well worth it.

Good pilot. Fun helicopter experience. Interesting info. Unfortunately, the lava flow had stopped going into ocean the week before. My wife was seasick from the cruise and could not make the trip. I am still working with the company to see if there can be a re-imbursement. Hard to get a doctor's note for this one so I hope they will work with me. I will update everyone to see if I can give the company a great rating for flexibility/customer service.

The ride was nice, but it's hit or miss with lava flowing. Don't expect to see lava bubbling out of the ground. The pilot was knowledgeable and gave us plenty of photo opps. The waterfall portion was not that impressive because you are high above the waterfalls so you can't experience their real beauty.

Great trip, but unfortunately volcanic activity differs from the spectacular photos of red hot bubbling out of craters that you see on documentaries etc., but definitely the best way to see the volcanoes of the Big Island. Great company, good trip...

Wow! would strongly recommend doing this. The trip was very well organised and our pilot was very knowledgeable and clearly loves his job. Fantastic view of the lava in the crater and we were lucky enough to see lava on the surface and going into the ocean. The waterfalls was an added bonus.
