Would give 5 stars, but it’s advertised as a 4 hour excursion but it’s really only 2 hours. They have people waiting at the docks for the next tour so it wasn’t cut short they just book this excursion for only 2 hours. Captain Ryan was excellent. Our kids had a blast. Small boat so it’s not packed with too many people. It would have been nice to know it was such a short trip.

All of it was amazing the captain and cocaptain were friendly, and the snorkeling was amazing. They took the time to show us things around the island that were memorable and had historical information.

The ride to Kalekakua was very bouncy as there was wind and good size waves, The place was crowded and you are constantly bumping into people from crowded tour boats. The coral was very bleached, sadly ,and the fish were not very plentiful maybe because the water was turbid due to wave activity, The crew was very nice and did their best.

Great experience! Team was friendly, knowledgeable, responsive. Emphasized safety of the mantas, which we loved, and people as well. The whole thing went very smoothly. Only issue is that communication from "phone team on the ground" did not exactly line up with information from the team at the snorkel site. (e.g., on phone, we were told they would have full length wet suits to use, actually only have shorties). Not a big deal for us but might be for some people being in the water at night.

Lovely crew with great information . Called us ahead of time to make sure we knew where to go. Made sure we knew what to expect and shared good stories and information. The Mantas were beautiful and such a great opportunity to see.

Coolest tour you can do!

We did the 9 pm tour. Eli was our Manta guide. He knew their names and where to put us for the best show. And boy was he successful we had like 10 Mantas dancing below us. They would get so close they would almost rub their bellies on us it was probably the coolest thing I've ever experienced. Also the boat ride is super short although I still recommend sea sickness pills as I did get a little sick climbing back into the boat. But it was a wonderful private experience and we will probably do it again because it really was that cool!

There were multiple manta ray snorkel companies at the starting point, so finding ours took just a few minutes. Viator gave me multiple addresses, but it was fine. After checking in, we waited for the boat for a bit. Large groups came in and I am glad that we had just the 4 of us; kids 16 and 14. We held onto a surfboard that had (6) ropes added to the sides. We saw a bunch of mantas. My son had two touch him. I brought a GoPro and the video quality is good with the lights that the guide used.

Not what I expected.

Part of our group really struggled in the water. Neither of the staff members there even noticed there was an issue. We booked this tour because we thought we would get a personalized experience. It did not feel that way.

Just got finished with the night snorkeling trip with manta rays. WOW! What an absolutely awesome experience. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. They explain what to expect and what you may encounter, but it is beyond words. We were outfitted with snorkeling equipment and wetsuits, hopped in the boat and were taken to a point that has several HUGE manata rays. After getting in the water, you hang on to a modified surf board outfitted with LED lights to attract plankton. The manta rays are gliding around effortlessly, coming within inches of you, swirling around doing loops as they eat the plankton. Several times the rays were almost brushing up against us. The rays ranged in sized from 10-15 feet wide. The trip concluded with a ride back to were we started. If I had one complaint, it would be the parking. Not enough spots for all the tours that leave from that ramp. Highly recommend this trip and this company.

An amazing experience

What an excellent experience. Starting at the check in at the dock, the staff was friendly, our gear was safely stored, and the equipment we were given was great including the rental GoPro. The boat ride out and back with our captain was great and great care was taken to make sure we got on and off the boat safely bat the dock and at the water site. Our guide in the water was wonderful and funny. And we must have seen 8-12 beautiful manta rays who circled about for thirty minutes coming within inches of you and often brushing up against you. And the crew helped guide you but also made sure we all treated the manta rays with care and respect. An amazing experience.

Please please go with this crew, they're amazing. It's nice to have just your own private group for this experience. Instructor was clear and the guide was knowledgeable and helpful. One of our people got sick and thankfully they took care of her quickly! My in-laws used another business and they werent given the same attention to detail as we were.
