Ung dam som gav oss turnén var född och uppvuxen där, ny historia, talade perfekt engelska. lärde mig mycket om historien innan, under och efter den kommunistiska eran. var välbevandrad om wwll och mycket historia på specifika platser. tveka inte att boka den här turnén

Great Sightseeing Tour of the old city. our guide, Nicole, was wonderful, spoke perfect English, knew about history of the city, recommended places to eat, drink and find good ice cream. I enjoyed the tour very much. Highly recommend!

Make sure to look for the Tripito sign

What to look for to find your guide is not prominently mentioned in the Viator write-up, so know that you are seeking out the plaza in front of McDonald's and looking for a guide with a Tripito sign. I could ding this tour a few points for that little piece being more challenging than it should be, but for the price paid this tour was well worth it. You get to walk around, learn a little history, get some first-person background on the restaurants and sights that are there to see. So, we arrived on the train and within 20 minutes we were able to drop our belongings at the hotel and get this tour so it was precision timing to get a sense of the town we were visiting!

Highlights of Bratislava

This very pleasant 2 hour tour took in the highlights of Bratislava as we zig-zagged through the old town viewing the buildings, statues and eating places. Our guide Nicola was very informative and entertaining. It provided us with a great base for our future exploration and certainly pointed out places we would probably not have visited that were indeed well worth the time. A perfect orientation.

Night time tour of Bratislava

Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a running commentary on Slovakian politics which I found fascinating. She was upbeat and enthusiastic. I liked the city of Bratislava a lot -- more than Prague actually which was very hot and over run with tourists.

Such a great tour. The others who had booked did not turn up so the two of us had the tour guide to ourselves. Saw the highlights of the old town and the guide could not have been more helpful, friendly and most important knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Excellent tour around the old city of Bratislava. We had limited time, so this was perfect - I would recommend it for those who may not have a lot of time or for those who would like to learn about the major important historical aspects of the city without going over board on details typical of long tours. The tour circled the city going to where the entrance gates of the old city used to be and stoping at major historical sites. The tour guide was excellent and knowledgeable since it was a very small group, we had the chance to ask many questions of interest to us as we walked from site to site.

Nicole was a brilliant tour guide. She gave us a fantastic overview of Bratislava and made us eager to stay for longer. She took us to several great shops to try out the local produce and recommended several fantastic places to eat and drink.
