En underbar tur om man stod ute på däck men inne i båten stod luften helt still. Inge luftkonditionering och därmed smakade inte maten så bra tyvärr. Jag hade bokat med hämtning vid hotellet och betalat för det men hotellet låg för nära så vi gick på uppmaning av Viator. Har inte fått tillbaka några pengar för det jag betalat.

Att bli hämtad och lämnad med taxi på hotellet kändes både lite lyxigt och praktiskt. Fick extra bra plats i fören på båten som en present eftersom vi firade bröllopsdag. Utmärkt buffet utan överdrifter. Trevlig musikunderhållning under resan. Staden är väldigt vacker och framförallt från flodsidan. Den riktiga höjdpunkten var givetvis att se slottet och broarna med belysning i kvällsmörkret.. Verkligen prisvärt.

Den var över förväntan. Födelsedagsfirandet blev ett oförglömligt minne för födelsdagsbarnet med sällskap. Varm sommarkvällnästan fullmåne och Budapest på båda sidorna av Donau i kvälssbelysning. Maten var god,musiken likaså. Kryssningen var värd varje krona.

The service was really good, and the food quality was really good. The live music lasted the entire evening which was nice but we would have liked to have seen a little more of the live dancing. They were very talented people, would have liked to had seen more. The ride on the ship was smooth and the view of the parliment building was very nice along with the bridges and the other sites along the Danube river.

This was a great tour to do, we have done lots of these river cruises throughout many cities and this one was by far the best. The staff were very attentive from the moment you boarded the boat, it was spacious, the food was excellent and varied and the musicians and dancers were very talented. Seeing the main sites by night is always great and the Parliament Building looked stunning. Would certainly recommend.

The buffet was one of the worst food I had in Budapest. The folklore was amateurish. The cruise was nice, saw all the highlight of Budapest.

More and more and more made two hours seem like two days

Well of course, it as the food…all sorts of yummy Hungarian food and wine. It was almost more scrumptious than visiting a Hungarian grandmother for a holiday with all sorts of different creams, soups, goulash, and paprika dishes in abundance. But then, after setting our silverware aside, we looked up and the beauty of the Danube was floating by just outside the windows filling our no longer hungry stomachs with joy. But even then there was more as the gypsy band started playing with its traditional instrumentation; violin, viola, upright bass, and the snappiest hammered dulcimer virtuosity keeping all ready to dance. But there was dancing and boot slapping and bone clapping too from a handsome couple in traditional dress. Don’t miss this!

Don’t waste your time & money. The 12 course meal is a buffet & if you are at the start of the line you might actually get food & it’s probably warm. If you wait until the line is shorter, you might not get much food, certainly not all the courses. We didn’t., plus what we did scrounge from empty pans & bowls was cold. The entre pans were mostly empty & although we asked for fresh, it never appeared while we were waiting nor eating. What we did eat was, ‘just okay’, at best. The dancing is ‘hokie’, very tourist trap kinda night. The music, however, was lively & nice. Very talented musicians.

Memorable but felt like a tourist trap

- The view from the boat in the night is amazing and one of the best things about the trip - The young dancers were great and really did their best to give everybody a good experience and good pictures - The musicians did great but seemed to be looking for tips when asking people for what music they wanted to hear - The food was good but it really felt like a race to get the food on the buffet before it ran out - The waiter was a tourist trap nightmare. He told me and my daughter that included in the trip price was a soft drink was included and a beer or a glass of wine. We then ordered a beer and a lemonade. At the end of the trip he said we had to pay for the lemonade because that was not a soft drink (which he did not warn about) and regarding the beer he said that he gave me a big one but only a small was included (and I just ordered a beer). He ended up charging me full price for both and tilted the card machine so I did not see that he included a 20 percent tip for himself. I then insisted that I got a small beer and a soft drink for free and he acted surprised and said "do you really want that?". I said yes and had to wait to almost the end of the trip because he prioritized getting payment from other clients first So the trip had some good sights and memorable moments but other parts of it felt too much like a tourist trap. I would recommend others to trip to find a trip where service fees are included and a number of courses delivered to the table so there is no race for the food
