Utmärkt turné för att njuta av spektakulärt landskap på en enkel plats

Det var en mycket välorganiserad turné med Guide / Driver Anujk som är hjälpsam, kunnig, tankeväckande och snäll. Även om en lång dag på 12-13 timmar var turnén väl värt det, eftersom vi upplevde en spektakulär utsikt över bergen, glaciären, sjöar med fantastisk färg, Canterbury slätter etc. allt med komfort och lätthet. Buffé lunchen på hotellet Hermitage var fantastisk med en mängd olika mat och roligt med utsikt. De tillhandahöll några snacks, drycker för oss som uppskattades. Sammantaget var det en utmärkt turné och mycket att rekommendera.

Scenery was amazing. It had snowed the night prior around Lake Tekapo so made the scenery even more magical. Our tour guide was great. He was very punctual and gave a very comprehensive review of the tour route.

Our guide was amazing, he was such a great person to be around during the trip. I can’t remember his name, he was of Indian descent and we had him for 2 day trips. I was with my adult daughter. Fully recommend this one!

Absolutely incredible and unforgettable, a must-see, and some of the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen. Our guide was super considerate, knowledgable and shared these wonders with us (along with yummy snacks!)

The views were amazing & enjoyed seeing the glacier & the lakes. I wish the bus seating was more comfortable for the 8-hr bus trip. 4 very long hours on the way back! No reviews mentioned this. Snacks & water with lots of photo & bathroom breaks were provided by a knowledgeable & friendly guide.

The journey from Christchurch to Mount Cook is approximately 4 hours each way. As mentioned in the description of the tour itinerary, this is an approximately 13 hours day tour. A Christchurch Must See

This tour had some of the most beautiful sights you will ever see! If you don't have the time, make the time. 13 hours seemed like a lot but we made several stops to see different place; it definitely didn't feel like we were stuck on the bus for hours. The only thing I'll say is the hike to see the glacier IS REALLY TOUGH! The description recommends moderate fitness but it is quite the trek, something like 300-400 stairs up a hillside.

A fantastic tour with amazing scenery and views. The trip was broken up perfectly with enough stops to make the long tour day really enjoyable. The tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly too. All in all a very impressive and memorable experience. It was the best.

The most impressive day tour

This was the most impressive day tour we've had in Christchurch. Mountains, lakes, climbing to the glacier - all this is an unforgettable experience. Comparing with the famous lakes and mountains in Switzerland, I would say that in the Southern Alps, the beauty of nature is absolutely not inferior and more dramatic due to its scale. Our driver was very caring and there were many stops on the way, which was important for us, because my husband gets carsick. Snacks (chocolate, nuts, chips, water) given by the driver on the way, were also very useful. In short, we had a wonderful, unforgettable day and highly recommend this tour.

Our driver and guide Anuj was amazing, he was very knowledgeable about the location and was really friendly. The stops on the trip are amazing and you get enough time at each place to have a look around and take some great pictures. Anuj provided snacks and water and you stop for breakfast and lunch. 100% recommend this trip to anyone visiting Christchurch!

The tour is gorgeous! The glacier hike and surrounding area is definitely the highlight. It's a long day, but the trip is broken up with stops along the way. Plenty of snacks and areas to buy food and drinks.

The whole day was fantastic, the lakes were beautiful and views to Mt Cook amazing, then hiking to Tasman glacier. Driver was excellent with commentary and little snacks along the way !

All the Must Sees in one day!

It’s a great tour that lets you see the main attractions in one day. However, it’s a long drive. Even though the bus was quite modern the seats were not comfortable. If you are tall it might be hard to be seated for 1.5-2 hours without brakes. There were enough stops and as much snacks and water as one needed. All in all, it was great, and the guide was super friendly.

We are glad to hear that you had a great tour and get to see all the major attractions in one day! Yes, our buses are quite modern as we have recently upgraded our entire fleet with brand new vehicles last year. These are one of the best vehicles available in New Zealand for small group operators. We agree, that unfortunately the leg spacing is not as generous as in big coaches. However, this tour would not be feasible in big buses in such amount of time.
