    Vår guide föreslog mindre tid vid ruinerna och mer tid vid lagunen på grund av värmen vilket var mycket uppskattat! Ruinerna är värda att se (större strukturer än Talum). Min 13-åring var inte imponerad men det är en tonåring för dig. Tacos vid lunch var utsökt! Även tonåringarna gillar dem. Det var allt du kunde äta. Lagunen är underbar och var mycket uppfriskande efter ruinerna. Vi trodde att det fanns paddleboarding såväl som kajakpaddling men det är bara kajakpaddling vilket var ok. Strömmen där du sjösätter var ganska stark och en paddleboard skulle vara knepigt. Det är väldigt stenigt så du kanske vill överväga vattenskor. Vi gick bara av stegen, simmade ut och höll upp fötterna. De var inte små stenar av stenar, snarare som små stenar under vatten. Att ta sig ut ur hamnen är ett absolut kluster! ! ! När du kommer ut, gå till vänster och gå mot pyramid och kiosken är till höger. Jag var väldigt förvirrad men jag är också riktad utmanad. Guiderna släppte av oss precis vid vägen till hamnen med gott om tid att ta sig tillbaka till vårt skepp. Jag var orolig för att komma kvar men vår guide var mycket uppmärksam på returtiden. Om du letar efter något äventyrligt är detta inte din utflykt. Om du vill se historiska ruiner och koppla av vid vackert vatten är det här en bra sådan!

    Lorenzo var fantastisk och fick oss tillbaka till vårt skepp i tid. Det slutade med att vi väntade nästan en timme på ett sent par, vilket var lite olyckligt eftersom vi inte hade någon ledig tid i slutet av utflykten. Lagunen var vacker, drinkar och lunch serverades efter en timmes simtur. Kyckling & fläsk var fantastiskt! Ruinerna var riktigt snygga, några gick genom "djungeln" vilket tog cirka 15 - 20 minuter. Jag har ett dåligt knä och valde bort den sista biten där man klättrade ca 15 - 20 stora steg.

    En perfekt dag från början till slut! ! ! Reseguiden var kunnig och vi kände oss trygga och omhändertagna. Vi hade cirka 30 minuter vid lagunen och vi hade en trevlig måltid där. Önskar att det var en lil längre tid att paddla kajak men totalt sett var detta en fantastisk utflykt!

    Våra reseguider Diego, Miguel och Alan var fantastiska. De var mycket informativa om ruinerna, gav tid att utforska och svara på alla frågor. Bacalar Lagoon var privat och inte trångt av hundratals kryssningsturer. Vi valde att boka med här istället för genom kryssningen och vår grupp var ungefär 12 istället för grupperna på 50 + vi passerade.     Jag hittade denna turné genom att söka online och läsa recensionerna. Vår reseledare var Edder och vår chaufför var Edgar. De var båda mycket trevliga och Edder var ganska kunnig om platserna vi besökte och passerade. Mayaruinerna var mycket intressanta och Bacalar-lagunen vacker. Lunchen var fantastisk och drycker ingick. Några i min familj njöt av kajakpaddling på lagunen och njöt av utsikten, inklusive orkidéer och bromelia i en av vikar. Ett förslag skulle vara att lägga till krokar på badrumsdörrarna på Bacalar Lagoon Resort för att underlätta byten. Jag rekommenderar denna turné.

    Personalen var vänlig och lagunen var fantastisk, men önskar att vi hade mer tid vid lagunen. Turnén var mycket mindre trångt än de stora bussturer som erbjuds av fartyget, och lagunläget var också mycket trevligare. Det enda negativa är att laget var lite oorganiserat. Vi var nervösa eftersom vi inte fick mycket kommunikation när vi bokade turnén, men allt löste sig. Vi tillbringade också mycket tid med att vänta på att börja vårt äventyr som redan förkortades av kryssningen (inte den här turens fel). När vi väl kom iväg var äventyret stort.

    Elliott var reseledare och han gjorde ett fenomenalt jobb. Han gav oss en enorm mängd information om sig själv, sin kultur och sin familj. Elliott är Maya och timmes bilresa från hamnen till Mayaruinerna var full av historier och bra information. Jag rekommenderar starkt denna turné och Elliott som din guide. Lunchen som serverades när vi anlände till lagunen var utsökt och han placerade vår drinkbeställning innan vi kom dit för att spara i tid. Vi fick till och med se några apor i deras naturliga livsmiljö medan vi gick genom djungeln för att nå en av Maya-sevärdheterna.

    Bussen plockade upp oss i minst 30 minuter, sedan när vi kom sa de att du måste ha vattenskor som var $ 12 styck att hyra. Även skåp var $ 12 att hyra. Min fru och andra tyckte att det var svårt att gå den steniga vägen (20 minuter) i de tunna vattenskorna. Vi antar att vi skulle åka med våra individuella tuber nerför floden men vi var sammanbundna och ledde av någon som ledde oss på en ledning.     Sammantaget var vår familj nöjd med denna utflykt. Vårt skepp blev sent framme. De hade oss fortfarande tillbaka i tid så att reseguiden skulle förklara allt medan jag gick så det gillade jag. Jag önskar att vi hade fått en minut att köpa några saker vid ruinerna, men det är okej, de lät oss stanna vid fruktståndet. Maten var bra drinkarna var bra. Föraren och reseguiden var fantastisk. Vi var med Edders grupp. Jag skulle definitivt gå igen med detta företag. Bra jobbat grabbar. Vi älskade ruinerna och lagunen.

    Vi hade bokat resan till Chaccoben Mayaruiner OCH Bacalar Lagoon-turen. Det lokala reseföretaget berättade för oss att de inte kunde ta oss till lagunen eftersom det inte fanns tillräckligt med tid på grund av fartygets avgång. Andra turer bokade direkt från fartyget, gjorde båda - ruinerna och lagunen på samma dag. Vi blev mycket besvikna med det lokala företaget för att inte tillgodose behoven hos 4 personer (vi och våra vänner). Alla de andra nio personerna i skåpbilen hade bara bokat resan till Mayaruinerna.

We understand that other tours booked directly from the ship were able to visit both the Ruins and the Lagoon on the same day. However, please keep in mind that tours from cruise companies are often shorter and rushed to fit the short time frame they have at port. As a local company, we strive to provide a more personalized and hassle-free experience to our guests. We aim to give you the best possible experience while ensuring that you are back at port before the All On Board time of your cruise for a stress-free day.
