Worth it!

Brilliant tour guide (Leonie) who was energetic, very insightful and spoke perfect English. And she was very adaptable to the plans of the group. I feel like I understand the region and its wines way better now. The wine tasting was great, I just wish there was more. I wish we could spend more time in Beaune or at least have a specific activity to do there, as we ended up just strolling around for 35 minutes.

5 hours of fun!

What a great afternoon seeing the sites of Beaune and the wine regions. The wine tasting was great and learning more about the wines from this area was enlightening. Thomas was extremely entertaining but also shared a deep understanding of the wines from Burgundy. We took the train from Paris in the morning, did the tour and took the train back in the evening. We got back late (which we knew we would) and I wasn't sure this was going to be a good idea. However, I definitely made the right choice. While it was a long day it was a day perfectly spent. Thank you Thomas for all of the laughs and the great wine tasting!

I guess we thought we'd be stopping at more than one location so that was a bit disappointing. Thomas was very knowledgeable about the wines - did wish we could have come away with some printed material to remind us of all the facts, etc. I do think that Thomas needs to be aware of his audience and temper some of his comments that he makes. Overall, good tour.

Very disappointing. Have doñé many trips through Víator, this was not as êxpected. We went to a wine cave which was very nice. The wines however were not very good. One was not drinkable, we tasted 5. Our guide seemed in a hurry and was annoyed with questions. This was the only wine tasting.

Une expédition imprévue et excellente

Nous avions choisi la demi-journée à Beaune, mais finalement nous avons dû choisir l’expédition pour la côte de Nuit, faute de groupe pour notre 1er choix. Nous étions chanceux de partager l’expérience avec une famille suisse adorable et un guide génial Thomas qui a su nous faire partager sa passion et nous éclairer sur de nombreux aspects des vins de Bourgogne. Nous avons pu contempler le paysage exceptionnel des vignes des cote de nuit, visiter la château du clos de Vougeau, puis Le clou du spectacle : la dégustation de 6 différents vins entre découverte pour les papilles et fou rire en bonne compagnie. Merci à Viator de m’avoir proposé ce choix alternatif et surtout merci à Thomas pour sa bonne humeur communicative, son humour et tous les connaissances transmises.
