Möt din reseledare på Villa Costanza Florence Coach Station. En av fördelarna med denna turné är att den börjar klockan 18.00, vilket ger dig tid att utforska Florens under dagen.

Gå ombord på din buss eller minibuss och bege dig ut till Chiantis landsbygd. När du väl kommit till en småskalig, lokal vingård får du ett glas som du kan använda för vinprovningar under kvällen.

Besök vingården, besök kapellet på plats och smaka på viner längs vägen. Höjdpunkten på denna resa är en 4-rätters middag under stjärnorna på en innergård dekorerad med ljus och facklor.

Slå dig ner för en välkommen aperitif med bruschetta och toskanska charkuterier. Gå över till "pappa al pomodoro", en toskansk brödsoppa. Resten av din utomhusmiddag inkluderar en kötträtt, efterrätt och vatten och vin.

Din natt avslutas med avlämning vid Villa Costanza Florence Coach Station.

Fruktansvärt. Turbussen tog oss till ett slott och vi var sena. Anlände efter solnedgången, regnade så middagen var inne och trångt med cirka 45 personer. Gården och källaren var för mörka för att se någonting. Maten var bara ok, vin var sparsamt. DO MOT DO GHIS TOUR!

Servicen var utmärkt, vinet var otroligt. Maten var inte bra. Bordet behövde vara högre upp på fast mark. Bättre vingårdar i området.

Middag i vingården

Turnén började med att vi träffade vår reseguide på en lokal tågstation som låg utanför stadens centrum. Detta var oroande eftersom vi visste att vi skulle komma hem sent och allt skulle stängas av, men lyckligtvis sa den unga damen och busschauffören att de skulle ta oss in till staden i slutet av turnén. Sedan gick vi ombord på en bekväm buss och vi var iväg! Vi kördes in i kullarna som omger Florens till vingården Poggio Ai Laghi. När vi kom fram möttes vi av en familjemedlem som delade med sig av historien om sitt vin medan han hällde upp generösa portioner av deras lokala produkter som de passade fint ihop med bröd, ost, olivolja och balsamvinäger. Efter presentationen leddes vi till ett långbord i vingården där vi serverades generösa portioner vin en underbar hemlagad måltid. Det enda som saknades var musik. Tack igen för en underbar kväll!

Grymt bra! Fick träffa riktigt trevliga människor. Personalen och ägarna var fantastiska. De erbjuder även måltider för personer med allergier. Jag rekommenderar det starkt.

Jag är mållös och känner att det här var en bluff. Vi förväntade oss en vacker vingårdsupplevelse. Jag tror att bilderna från vingårdens toaletter säger allt. (Om du såg insidan var det ännu värre - det var länge sedan de tömdes). Måltiden var tänkt att innehålla bbq-kött, potatis, lasagne, salami och ost. Fröken. Köttet var torkat och överkokt och av dålig kvalitet och serverades på ett mönster av brynt salladsblad. Denna tallrik delades med människorna omkring oss. Vi delade också på en liten pläterad ost och salami och en påse biscotti. DET VAR DET. På frågan om resten av måltiden som stod i händelsebeskrivningen åberopar de okunnighet. Stämningen var inte som visas. Ingen vit duk, bara rosa pappersservetter. Satt på lång träbänk inte enskilda stolar. Minimala mängder serverades. På vår ände av bordet 7 personer till en flaska. Turnén var ett skämt. Jag vet inte vad jag ska säga mer än att vi var så mycket besvikna över den här upplevelsen och kommer att dela den här historien med all familj och vänner. Det enda positiva är att vi träffade några väldigt trevliga människor.

The coach transport was comfortable. The commentary during the transport was challenging to understand and not particularly engaging. The arrival at the vineyard was lackluster and awkward. We got off the coach and walked to a fenced in area where we were served a glass of white wine and directed to sit in a variety of chairs around a budget hotel-esq pool. It was hot and shade was minimal. No one really knew what we were supposed to be doing. During this awkward time, our group was discussing whether there was a way to get back to town rather than stay for the being. On the upside, they kept the white wine coming. Eventually we walked to the cellar, which was also lackluster. From there we went to picnic tables set up between rows of grape vines. Again, it was very hot and there was no shade. We were offered two different wines during the dinner. Both were fine, and we were given enough for our end of the table. Dinner was fine. Charcuterie to start then a meat course that included grilled sausages, chicken, and porch chops. We were offered the traditional biscuits and after dinner cordial to dip the biscuits in. The location was not particularly picturesque. There were two portable toilets for guest use, which was less than ideal. Overall, we were disappointed. The best part was conversation at dinner with table mates.

Best tour guide, great wine, magical evening

This is one of the best memories I will take with me from Italy. Be prepared to take a Tram to the Villa Costanza tram stop to meet your tour guides. Then Expect a bit of a ride on a tour bus to the vineyard. You arrive at the vineyard which is a modest farm. There’s a brief tour of the barns where the wine is made. Then everyone sits on long benches where you are served cold meats and a peasant dish as an appetizer which is then followed by unlimited fresh hot chicken, sausages and pork straight from the grill. The wine was delightful but the conversation and friendships formed over dinner from people from all parts of the world was the highlight. The ride back was filled with singing and laughter. Our guide was an extraordinary young woman who endured lots of singing on the bus back to Florence. She went above and beyond to make sure the group returned safely to Florence.

Just happen were with group members that were party people snd that was exactly what the tour ended up being. Winery sere great hoists, setting was fantastic set among the rows of ripening grapes. Way more then ample very good food. Loved the evening and highly recommend the tour!

The coach was very nice. The tour guide arranged a Taxi after the evening for our large group of 5 since we stayed outside the city. The host was charming. We appreciated that we could order products and have them shipped home.

Great (go hungry and thirsty)

It was incredible! Me and my boyfriend had a blast. Amazing wines, olive oils and vinegars. Good food, but a bit too much in quantity, we thought it was a bit of a waste. Maybe ask about it before serving this huge amount of food would be more sustainable. The place is beautiful, I'd love to visit the old vineyard, but we went to the newest one.

Easily one of the surprise highlights of our honeymoon! We sipped Chianti while watching the sunset. We ate a beautiful meal amongst the vines and met some great people at the table. A little further out from town but well worth the ride. Bring a snack for the bus or just grab a late lunch that day that is what we did... No worries on the way back though! We were full!

I was really looking forward to this this trip and thought it was going to be the highlight of our vacation. I really wanted to see the Tuscan countryside and experience eating outside in the vineyards. However, it was raining and we had to wait for the bus in the rain for an hour because the bus was late. By the time we got out of the city, it was too dark to see any scenery. We arrived at the location, which was very nice, but again, too dark to appreciate it. We ate inside and for the most part, the people we were seated with were nice. The tour guide explained about the wines which were pretty good. The food was marginal which included some kind of dish which was bread crumbs mixed with tomato sauce, and dried out BBQ meat. The bruschetta, meat and cheeses were all very good. On the bus ride home, a woman who had too much wine and was sitting in the seat across the aisle from us, was throwing up. All in all, this trip was extremely disappointing. However it was mainly due to the weather and other circumstances. If I were to make suggestions to the tour company they would be: Start this trip earlier in the day so people can enjoy the scenery and give a tour of the vineyards and wine making process. Make sure you use a reliable bus company that will be on time. Don't make everyone wait in the rain. Change the menu by dropping the tomato mush dish and including pasta, and change the dried out BBQ meat to something else.

This tour did not suck, seriously. Our group size was small, I believe we had less than 20 people...which made for an intimate setting. The drive out was a bit long, but it was nice to see a bit of the countryside. The vineyard itself was absolutely beautiful. Also, the wine was plentiful, and the food delicious and portions generous. Our tour guide, Adrianna which I may have absolutely got her name wrong/misspelled was a terrific guide and host. My partner and I had a great time talking with her throughout the evening. Overall, this was a great experience. I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing!!!!! This was by far the best tour we did on our trip. We went to Chianti and had wine and appetizers at a beautiful winery. We walked to where we saw such a beautiful sunset before heading down to the vineyard where they had lights and tables in the vineyard. We were seated between the vines. We had as much wine as you cared for and ate BBQ with grilled veggies and we started with a tomato and bread soup. The desert was panacotta and it was the best. They took us back to Florence on the bus and dropped us at the train station. Our hotel was close by but if you needed there were plenty of taxi's at the train station. It was such a beautiful place to have dinner and the wine was so very good.

Overall a nice tour. Leaves late in the afternoon so you have all day in Florence. The drive is fairly long but with some great views of the mountains and the area. When you arrive they serve appetizers with a tasting of three wines. The two better ones are served last, and are not part of the dinner. The terrace has a nice view of the vineyards below. Afterwards you walk down to the dinner tables set in between the rows of vines with a bbq pit right there. Food is abundant but not spectacular.
