Nice small group, personable captain & guide. Only reason review is not 5 stars - the whales did not make an appearance. They only sang to us.

Awesome Captain and Awesome Guide!! We saw turtles, dolphins, whales. Captain and guide extremely knowledgeable about sea life and island!! Very safe and wanted to everyone to get the best experience possible!!

Bad weather

During our excursion we didn't see any whales or dolphins or turtles. Water was very rough. We were the only boat out due to the weather/water conditions. While I know the weather and associated conditions were out of everyone's control, it definitely would have been better to cancel the excursion rather than spending 2 hours on the rough seas. A very expensive time in the boat with a rather unpleasant experience.

What an adventure! Crew was awesome and we saw so many whales. Highly recommend this adventure!!

If you want an adventure this is where you can get it. The crew was knowledgeable and fun. It was a rough day on the water but that made it even more fun. We got rained on and were drenched from head to toe but that didn’t stop us from seeing lots of whale. We even saw mamas and babies together. So many whales!! Highly recommend this excursion.

Lovely tour and so much fun! You must be okay with hitting the waves. If you are this is the tour for you. The intimate setting of a smaller boat and smaller group amongst the vastness of the water and these huge beautiful creatures is an experience that can not be beat!

Awesome experience. Jane and Izzy were amazing. It was so cool we got to hear the whales singing. Jane was an amazing driver. They were both very knowledgeable about the humpback whales and other marine life.

We had a spectacular time today. Not just spinner dolphins, a turtle, and plenty of humpback whales, but a crew that was fun and entertaining and big on safety. We loved it!! Zodiac ride was just what we anticipated: a little bumpy and rough, but exhilarating and beautiful!

The whole experience great!! Even if we weren’t able to see the whales the boat ride alone was worth it (but we finally saw them after an hour or so). Our captain was very knowledgeable, funny, and did an amazing job at making us feel safe. 10/10 recommend!!

This was a horrible experience! First of all, my son stepped on glass on the dock after we were told to take our shoes off before getting on the boat. The captain responded with, “There is always glass on the dock from the night before!” Well, who tells their customers to take their shoes off knowing there could be broken glass there from the night before. Then the captain took off like a banshee annd hit a wave pretty hard and an older woman went flying out of her seat so she wanted off the boat. So we went back to the dock to let her off, then another woman was seasick and was vomiting over the side of the boat. And we did not see one thing. No whales, no dolphins, not one creature. Don’t waste your money!!

My wife and I took our 14 and 6 year old kids on the late afternoon trip. Kristina and Captain Rich were awesome, made sure everyone was safe and had a good time. Our 14 year old also had a really good time ( and we all know how hard it can be to get a teenager to admit that!). We saw a mamma humpback with her baby, and their male escort! It was memorable to see those majestic creatures. Rich was very knowledgeable about the history of the different places on the coast, so I highly recommend making sure you soak in that knowledge. Kristina was awesome with our 6 year old, and made it a super memorable trip for her, by pointing out green sea turtles, and even a baby sea turtle in the harbor!! Thanks again guys we will be sure to be back!

Majestic whales!

We loved everything from start to finish. The weather was just right and no rain drops in sight. The boat was fast and so much fun when we hit the waves. Listening to the doplar for whale noises and we were able to hear the clicks and groans, so we knew they were within miles of us. Then with a tip from a close by catamaran, we witnessed a yearling with its mom and protector whale breach over and over again! Then fin slaps between mom and yearling. It was an amazing sight. We spent at least 20-30 minutes watching them play. Our guides were so helpful and attentive to everyone! We were extremely fortunate to see such a majestic creature on our trip!

Tour itself reasonably good and friendly people but your orginization never played any role in this business whatsoever and merely act as intermediater and charged 40 percent margins which is very unreasonable . We strongly recommend direct communication with real organizer of this tour Zodiac.

Had a great time, Captain Steve is very knowledgeable and Christina a great 1st mate. Saw lots of whales, learned some Hawaiian history. Would definitely recommend. The ride is not too bumpy, didn’t get wet (2 things I was worried about)
