Fantastisk turné

Vi träffade vår förare i Krak, som sedan tog oss runt det judiska kvarteret och ghettot, stannade för att låta oss besöka ett apotek i gettot som kördes under andra världskriget och nu är ett interaktivt museum. Slutligen tog vår förare oss till Schindlers fabrik, även nu ett museum. En mycket insiktsfull turné gjorde desto bättre av vår mycket kunniga förare som är engelska var utmärkt

Vår guide var kunnig och påpekade olika landmärken som ger dessa historia. Det var en ganska kall dag så hade den klara plasten på sidorna på det elektriska fordonet. Hade varit bättre om han vid dessa stopp hade frågat om någon ville ta ett annat foto än personen som sitter bredvid föraren eller åtminstone ha gett oss tid att packa upp omslagen och ta ett snabbt foto. Vi var inte de enda som trodde detta.

Visited Austwich/Birkenau and did a tour of the Jewish Qtr on the 7th and 8th March, all booked through Viator. Met thee most wonderful tour guides. Their wealth of knowledge / information was overwhelming. Their customer service was second to none. I rec'd a text on the eve of our Austwich visit to confirm pick up time at my accommodation. Our pickup was on time. Our driver was excellent (whom unfortunately i cannot remember his name) once he had picked up all for the our tour, he explained how the day would pan out and then played a video of the history of Austwich to watch during our journey. This video truly set the scene to our tour. Our tour included the salt mines. We were supplied a lovely luch before making our way to the saltmine which was very tasty. A roll and a pasta salad and a chocolate biscuit bar with water. Our driver was professional, helpful and friendly showing great patience whist ensuring everyone was informed throughout. The following days tour of the Jewish Qtr was again a very informative tour given by a great guide who had a wealth of knowledge and a very friendly manner. I would highly recommend Viator and wherever I travel I will book with them without hesitation.

Brilliant driver- Mirek- , very knowledgeable, patient and pleasant! The trip itself is a must see- the fact we can stop at the pharmacy operating in the ghetto during the War as a major plus we weren’t expecting. Would reccomend the trip and would definitely recommend aviator. Thank you Mirek

I found Schindler's Factory a strange experience. It is comprehensive coming a detailed account of Krakow during WW2. But the panels about Schindler appear to be designed to make it hard to read and if there is someone standing in front of them it is near impossible. And that's the same throughout. Lots of detailed content which is really difficult to read if the museum is busy. Loved the tour of the Ghetto and Jewish Quarter. V. Informative guide.

It was a fantastic tour. Our guide driver was excellent with a in dept knowledge of what happened during ww2. His accent was so easy to listen to and understand. Unfortunately we can’t remember his name. If this helps get him a much deserved pay raise he drove a white electric vehicle he lived in Canada for a few years.

The trip to schindlers factory that never was

Supposed to be a tour of jewish quarters and ghetto followed by a guided tour of the factoy olnly to be told by our guide that the factory was closed but not untill the tour was underway had we have been informed at the beginning we would have asked for a refund beforehand instead of now trying to get it afterwards which were told could take up to 10 days as viator wont give us it until they have got it bck from the tour provider

Le guide ne s'est pas présenté donc nous sommes très déçues de ne pas avoir pu visiter l'usine de Schindler ainsi que l'ancien quartier et ghetto juifs. De plus, nous avions payé à l'avance donc nous demandons le remboursement de notre réservation.

Réservation faite le 28 décembre pour un tour de 3h avec entrée au musée de Schindler avec audioguide en français. RDV à 10h, nous étions sur au point de RDV dès 9h40! Le chauffeur est surpris de nous voir... Cela commençait mal... Il y avait 9 italiens avec nous. Il s'excuse en nous disant qu'il ne sait pas si nous pourrons avoir des billets pour l'usine de Schindler... Au bout de 50 minutes de voiture électrique dans le quartier juif, la sentence tombe pas d'entrée pour l'usine de Schindler, plus de billets disponibles... Nous avons payé 29e pour une balade de 50 min! SCANDALEUX. J'ai envoyé 3 mails, personne ne répond, Pourquoi vendre des tours si on sait qu'il n'y pas de tickets? J'attends un remboursement et accessoirement des excuses.
