Att se akvedukten var höjdpunkten. Det var ett museum som vi inte hade biljetter till och vi borde ha köpt själv eftersom det är kyrkans stil som jag gillar. På egen hand är detta ett bra sätt att se saker som du kanske inte kommer till om du inte är bra på att navigera kollektivt.

Din bräda på en dubbeldäckare luftkonditionerad buss med 75+ personer, men de delade upp grupperna i 3 med olika guider. Jag tyckte det var välorganiserat. Jag tänkte att det också tillåts tillräckligt med pauser i badrummet under hela dagen. Vår reseguide, Ellie var energisk och mycket kunnig. Hon var fantastisk. Maten på restaurangen där vi avslutade turnén i Avila var hemsk. De verkade överväldigade och såg inte ut som om de tyckte om att ha oss där. Kycklingen och Fritas var blötlagda och droppade i olja utan mycket smak. Jag skulle inte rekommendera att spendera din lunch här. Vi toppade vid de andra borden och de delade samma känsla och rörde inte maten. Den andra halvan av turnén i Sergovia med Daniel var ännu bättre med mycket mer promenader och mer att se.

En minnesvärd vandring genom Segovia.

Njöt av beskrivningen av begravningsbålet i den romanska kyrkan. Trevligt "inkluderat" lunchstopp i Avila med en drink och spansk omelett, och vi lade sedan även till en sallad på vår egen räkning. Sedan till Segovia. Vi hade varit där förut men den här resan var väldigt unik. Vi vandrade under katedralen och sedan upp till slottet. Entré ingick. Sedan gick vi upp till katedralen för en rundtur. Sedan gick vi ner till den romerska akvedukten i slutet av turen. Vår guide var utmärkt och turnéformatet gav oss en mycket bättre känsla/förstå konturerna och storleken på staden Segovia. Tidigare besök skulle ha busshållplatsen vid akvedukten för lite fritid, sedan köra dig till slottet för ett besök och fritid - vilket aldrig gav dig en riktig inblick i stadens layout, inte heller de dramatiska konturerna inom stadsmuren . En mycket mer minnesvärd upplevelse än tidigare besök! ! Rekommenderar starkt att ta denna turné!

Turen rekommenderas verkligen. Det var ett rätt beslut att dela upp turer för Avila/Segovia och Toledo. Jag personligen gillade mest - Alc zar från Segovia. Henry var en fantastisk reseguide - mycket professionell, lugn och kunnig. Maten ingår nästan inte (en drink och en bit tapas ingick) så förbered dig på att betala 10 - 15 euro för en snabb lunch. Fantastisk dag med många minnen.

Segovia is a beautiful...

Segovia is a beautiful town with a fantastic castle; right out of a fairy tale. The residents are very kind as well. Our tour guides were wonderful and knowledgeable about everything. We were amazed at the Roman aqueduct! The architecture and churches were so beautiful. There's a lot of walking but well worth it, and, if you can't keep up, there's a meeting point and time to rejoin the group.

Fabulous Day in Segovia and Avila

We were thrilled with our choice to take this day trip tour. Our guide, Rafa, with fun and tickets was exceptionally good. He kept us giggling in between lots of fabulous historical context. The bus was clean and modern and the driver was smooth and safe. Part of the tour was stopping for coffee/treat and then again for lunch. Both restaurants had charm and ready wait staff. Of course, the locations were just beautiful and captivating to boot! Don’t hesitate to book this tour.

The whole tour was great! Pilar was a great guide and tour director! Having multiple guides that speak only one language during the tour makes a big difference. It was well worth it.

Beautiful Segovia and Avila

Wonderful way to see both Avila and Segovia. Large comfortable bus. Our guide, Marta, was entertaining and provided insider information because she is an Avila native. Segovia was a surprise. It has the most beautiful cathedral in Spain, a gorgeously restored alcazar/fairy tale castle, and the amazing Roman aqueduct.
