For sure worth going to the caves

Caves are quite impressive, going on a bus is convenient but if you have a car probably worth driving. The guide is really nice and explained a bit about the history of Mallorca, but doesn’t go with you into the caves

Relaxing day at the caves

Our tour guide and driver made a great team, we learned some things about the countryside on the bus ride over to the caves. The caves were beautiful, a bit touristic, but that is to be expected. The pearl store visit is optional and we decided not to do that and instead took a quick walk to a nearby Lookout point and it was beautiful!

The live orchestra on the boat was out of this world. The way the music faded in and out was fantastic and the atmosphere in the cave was not to be missed. The boat ride afterwards was worth the wait and the queues for the boat went down surprisingly quickly so don't be put off. The pick up and drop off by coach and the descriptions by the tour guide were great which all went towards making it a great day

Marianna Francisco was an excellent host. She was very knowledgable and funny in 4 languages. We had a marvelous day. She went above and beyond giving us information to get us back to our hotel, saving us time and money.

The caves were awesome and the concert delightful. Our guide, Mariana and bus driver Angel took good care of us. Mariana was very knowledgeable and showed us the best of Palma de Mallorca. I cannot recommend No-frills tours highly enough.

Subject: Disappointing Experience on Caves of Drach Half-Day Tour with Boat Trip and Music Concert I recently took the Caves of Drach Half-Day Tour with Boat Trip and Music Concert through Viator, costing £56. While the concept of the excursion was promising, I found the overall experience lacking due to several organizational issues. One major drawback was the overcrowding at the caves, as too many people were scheduled for the same entry hour. This led to an uncomfortable and claustrophobic atmosphere inside the caves, with excessively long queues that impacted the overall enjoyment of the tour. Moreover, the safety concern of having numerous people navigating the narrow tunnels and slippery spaces of the Drach Caves cannot be overlooked. A particularly distressing aspect was the impact on children during the tour. Many of them were visibly frightened, crying amid the large crowd of adults in the dimly lit and uneven spaces of the tunnels and stairs. This not only detracted from the experience for the children but also affected the overall ambiance of the excursion. The music concert, a highlight of the tour, had the potential to be enjoyable. However, it was marred by constant interruptions from the organizers' loudspeakers, urging visitors to put away their phones. This unnecessary noise disrupted the classical music performance, diminishing the overall impression of the event and detracting from the intended serene atmosphere. In order to enhance the overall experience, I sincerely hope that the organizers address these issues in the future. A more thoughtful approach to scheduling, crowd control, and minimizing disruptions during the concert would undoubtedly contribute to a more enjoyable and recommendable excursion for both visitors and organizers alike. Caves are a must see!

I would say the caves of drach are a must to visit while in Mallorca. We chose the half day tour, which the hotel recommended and it was the best option as we weren't rushed around at all. The caves are really magical and quite fascinating. The orchestra at the lake within the caves is brilliant and the little boat ride at the end was an added extra albeit very short! We had lunch at the caves and had the best hotdogs from the little stand next to the cafe. Highly recommend! Just a heads up the caves are very busy and the queue for the boat trip was long but it went quick enough and it all was worth the wait. Had a brilliant experience with the tour company, Catalina our guide was excellent and managed our expectations. Seemless trip from start to finish.

The actual caves were quite nice but the experience was stressful. First notification said pick up point was at the Cathedral, then I received another that changed it to my hotel and last one said to meet at the harbor. Since I never got picked up the day before because the time was 9:30 and I was told to be at the port at 8:30 I lost over $200 in never going on the trip. The same company handled both excursions and my recommendation would be to not use No Friils Excursions. The numbers I had did not work. Even tho No Friils was responsible for NOT picking me up, giving me the wrong pick up location or the wrong time (they did say they arrived at 9:35) I had 2 days that they could’ve rebooked me but they said Viator was responsible. Hopefully I can work this out when I get home Fri since it is impossible to talk to a real person here.

Definately worth the money. Was a really nice trip. Walking qas not as bad as it seemed. I carried a toddler around the whole trip even with the stairs so it is doable. Its not fit for buggies or wheelchairs at all. But you can leave the buggy at the entrance. Views inside were amazing could have easily sat there a whole day. Some people disregard others space and dont respect the silent times or can just leave their kids running amok which can spoil it a little. Feel free to speak up if that happens the staff will sort it out quickly. Reasonably priced shops surrounding it. All in all a good trip Perfect place for a proposal or to celebrate something special 😍 My family still talk about it 6 months later.

The cave is remarkable and I would recommend it enthusiastically. However, the price was very high compared to the admission charged at the cave. And the bus ride was interminable. We got on the bus at 9am and didn’t get to drop off until nearly 3:30pm. The tour itself was maybe 90 minutes. Save time, and come out even on the cost by renting a car and driving there. The caves are 45 minutes from my hotel in Palma, and most other places on the island would be similar.

Marianna was our tour guide. Pick up was a few steps from our hotel. Then we had an informative bus ride to the caves. The caves snd the concert were unbelievable! She really was very nice and after we got out of the caves she waited for us and told us where the pearl factory was and the port and even where to get espresso! Do not miss this excursion!!!

Would be better off taking a taxi to the caves yourself and would likely save some money. Half of the tour time wasn't anything to do with the caves, got taken to a pearl shop and then taken to Porto Cristo which wasn't what was advertised when we booked.

Not what I expected. The caves were really cool but we spent more time getting there then at the venue. If you have limited port time, spend it somewhere else. You walk through the cave, and watch a 10 minute string instrument concert and get a 30 second boat ride.
