Turné utan en lokal guide, bara en taxichaufför

Vi bokade denna turné med livekommentarer ombord och lokal guide. Personen som hämtade oss nämnde omedelbart att han bara var föraren och inte reseledaren. Vi hade intrycket att vi skulle hämta reseledaren längs vägen men så var inte fallet. Under de 6 timmar vi satt i bilen fick vi nästan ingen information om omgivningen, historien eller vad som helst. Hur är denna livekommentar? Föraren åkte för fort på de smala slingrande vägarna till och från Amalfi, ibland bakade bilen framför oss eller försökte passera en bil där det inte ens gick att göra det. Han sms:ade och körde samtidigt, vilket ledde till osäkra situationer. Detta är oacceptabelt under körning och ansvar för flera personer. Vi begärde en partiell (eftersom Pompeji-turen var trevlig) återbetalning av vår turné eftersom vi var mycket besvikna över resultatet av den och vi inte fick vad webbplatsen lovade. Meddelandet vi fick tillbaka var "Tyvärr kan vi för närvarande inte återbetala" utan någon förklaring varför. Inte särskilt kundvänligt ☹ Så i princip betalade vi € 135,- per person för att få köra runt utan att lära oss något. Det var 5 personer i bilen så företaget tjänade små € 700,- på denna resa. Det här är en fullständig rip-off. Vi rekommenderar inte att boka denna turné.

Dear client, I am sorry that you didn't enjoy the tour at its best, when we have groups that don't meet the minimum number of people requested, as stated on the product page, you will receive audioguide instead of a live guide but we still provide english speaking drivers and/or assistants so that they can still give some general info and some anecdotes about what you see during the trip. Regarding the other issues thata you mentioned, it sounds very weird as we have very professional drivers and I think that if he would have been constantly at the phone we would have known and taken some measures on the same day. We hope to see you again on one of our other tours so that we can make you change your mind!

Platserna var fantastiska och lunchen var utsökt. Transporten höll dock inte en acceptabel standard. Föraren åkte för fort ner på de smala blåsiga vägarna, med att rusa upp och sakta ner för att få några gäster att få åksjuka. Det visades ingen oro (erbjudande om att ta kurvorna långsammare, inga sjukväskor eller erbjudande om att sitta längst fram). Guiderna var svåra att förstå och verkade ointresserade. Med vad som förväntades bli en fantastisk upplevelse blev vi besvikna på denna turné.

Jag betalade extra för hotellhämtning vilket inte hände eftersom jag och min vän var tvungna att gå till mötesplatsen för att vänta på bussen. Jag har skickat flera meddelanden och bett om min återbetalning och inget positivt svar har getts. Det är orättvist att ta den extra avgiften för hämtning utan att ge tjänsten och sedan inte återbetala. Jag väntar fortfarande på min återbetalning

Resan till Amalfi var minnesvärd. Landskapet är unikt och fantastiskt. Även om trafiken var tung längs kusten rekommenderar jag det starkt. När det gäller Pompeji var det underbart att se vad vi hade studerat och läst om. Det var fortfarande en lärorik upplevelse.

A truly lovely day trip

This tour is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the regions near Napoli while on a brief stay. The crew was really knowledgable, helpful and approachable for anything we needed and surely contributed to us making the most out of the trip. We had two hours to explore Amalfi and the guided tour to Pompeii was beyond our expectations. We learned a lot, explored and took in the amazing views of the mountains and the coast. Overall a totally recommended experience. So a great thanks is due for Roberta, Anna and, of course, our driver!

Not enough time in either places. And the tour guide (Francesca) did not make sure everyone was together. The whole was gathered together waiting for the driver Goiovani (who was late at Pompeii). When the driver finally arrived, Francesca did not look to make sure everyone was in the van. She was ready to leave with 2 people behind. Also is was so hot in the van. We asked for the air to be turned high yet they didn’t comply.

Our guide on the Amalfi drive, Francesca, and our guide at Pompeii were very good, however the drive through the mountains and along the Amalfi coast was like a roller coaster and we didn’t find it enjoyable at all. Really glad that I took my Dramamine because I would have barfed for sure without it. We were looking forward to stopping for lunch and walking around Amalfi, but the area was so packed with people that it was difficult to enjoy what I am sure is a lovely town. Pompeii was the bright spot of the day. Our guide was very knowledgeable. In retrospect, we would have skipped the Amalfi coast portion (a ferry or boat would be a much better way to arrive there) and spent the day in Pompeii.

Must to do if in Naples and have short time

Fantastic tour. A must when you visit Naples and don't have much time. Lookout from Sorrento, Positano was mind blowingly beautiful. Might give you motion sickness as the road is extremely windy through Amalfi coast. Take some ginger tablets if you are prone to motionsickness. A view was awesome from the car. The guide was amazing, cannot remember her name. It was raining heavily at pompei, which was only down side. Everyone got soaked properly. I highly recommend this tour

Great drive to the Amalfi coast, stopped at a couple of sites to take pictures and sample limoncello. Good lunch at Amalfi. As the last stop we went to Pompeii which was the prime reason my wife booked this tour. The poor guide was only given 2 hours because some cruise passengers were in the group and had to be back before the boat left Naples. She (the tour guide) had to rush and we had little opportunities to ask questions or take pictures.

Tour at Pompeii was amazing. The coast was beautiful. The van was a bit cramped, not much legroom and one of us had to sit in the front seat between the driver and our guide. Thought we were taking a bus. Our driver was a master at maneuvering thru the traffic.

While this trip was great we wish we would have known a few things before starting. First the Amalfi Coast was beautiful but comes with VERY windy roads. For two people who don’t typically get car sick, we both had to go to the closest pharmacy when we arrived for motion sickness pills. Despite the windy roads the tour bus driver continued to drive very fast and often was exceeding the speed limits, often accelerating quite a lot only to slam on the breaks seconds later. Additionally, the tour guide (Noami) was great however added a stop to the trip by asking us if we’d like to stop at the Lemonchello factory, we all agreed that would be a great stop but we were given 20 minutes at the location and later discovered this was also where her boyfriend was stopping with his tour. This stop looked like more of a reason for her to socialize with her boyfriend than for us to explore what turned out to be a look off with a very small gift store with a window to view the “factory” which was just lemons on a conveyer belt (shown in photo). After this stop at the factory we proceeded to be rushed at all other locations (that were paid for and advertised). Had we known this was the cost of stopping we would have never agreed. For the Amalfi Coast we were given 1 hour to explore with no guidance as to where the popular tourist attractions were, we were given a meet up time and then scolded like a child when we arrived on time … all because the others in our group decided to come back to the meeting spot early and had been waiting for us. Finally, when we arrived at Pompeii we were handed off to another guide who was excellent however we were never given a meeting point from our original guide and the Pompeii guide had no idea where to send us to find our guide, thus, we lost one of our group members for approximately 15 minutes, yet no apologies were extended to us for her being late.. While the trip was amazing the sites were great to see, the entire trip seemed VERY rushed and most of the time was spent sitting in traffic. If this is a common occurrence in April (which was suggested) I wouldn’t want to take the tour during the busy season as you wouldn’t have any time in any location. For the money spent, the tour should definitely be longer, I paid to see locations not sit in traffic. Lunch was okay, pasta with tomato sauce - nothing crazy.

It was amazing to see what it was like over 2000 years ago. They had invented so much back then that we use now. To see marble floors and painting on the walls. The coast was beautiful and interesting to see as well. It was good and relaxing bus trip.

WORST TOUR EXPERIENCE EVER

I got picked up and the bus broke down and had to wait a hour then they put me with a tour group of another language when I requested english , the worst part is I accidentally booked this tour multiple times and repeatedly called saying I needed a refund for the same multiple tours as I was already doing a tour with them and they refuse to give me a refund and wouldn’t take no for a answer when I said I didn’t mean to book the same tour twice more included showing up to my hotel after I called them repeatedly saying the double booking was a accident and I didn’t want to do the tour 2 more additional times . TERRIBLE
