Whole day was excellent. Our guide, Thanos, was outstanding. His commentary as we toured the island was informative and light hearted. He obviously knows his island!

This was a good introduction to Naxos. We did this tour on October 14, 2023. There were about a dozen guests. Nicolas was our guide. He provided appropriate commentary along the way. He was personable and answered questions when asked. The bus tour took us all over the island, covering a lot of ground which gave us a great overview of how mountainous and large the island is. We did find there was a bit too much blank space/ free time in places where there wasn’t much to do but saying that, many of our other Viator tours have been more interactive and jam packed. For example, on their tour we paid 4 euros admission to see the Temple of Demeter but there was no guide or explanation for what we were looking at. Overall though, it provided a good introduction to this beautiful island and the price was right for what we got.

We ll take into consideration the free time provided at stops but as far as admission fees at Demeter temple,we d like to point out that in the tour we provide local tour escorts ,skilled at providing information and help not certified tour guides who are licenced to provide tours at the archeological sites . We are certain that Nicolas on the bus told you about that specific monument . thanks

Lovely island tour!!

This tour was larger than we anticipated. We were emailed there would be 10 total on the tour including our group of 5. It turned out to be closer to 30 people. It turned out OK and our guide George was funny, informative, and engaging :) We really enjoyed the amount of locations we were able to visit and to see the beautiful landscapes and landmarks of the island. We also loved the lunch location as the food and hospitality were amazing!

The tour was great. Thanos is a fantastic tour guide with a great personality. He mixed history and humor which kept us engaged. It was his last tour for the season so we were fortunate that we got to avail of his service and get to know him a bit. Tony was our skilled driver and navigated the route very safely at all times. Our lunch was amazing and adequately timed. Stops along the way were well timed and interesting. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Long day

We saw most of the island via bus. Our guide Thanos was excellent but the full day was too long. Olive press, distillery and pottery were underwhelming. Small villages were nice but not much time in each. Naxos OK but not a wow for us. If you want to laze at the beach everyday it would be an excellent choice.

The tour was great, Thanos our guide was very knowledgeable, the villages we visited were great. In particular the village for the ouzo tasting and the highest village in Naxos for lunch. It was great way to see the points of interest on the island

Naxos in a quickie

Great tour to see Naxos if you are there for a short period of time. And a great value. I met at the pick up point at 9 and returned around 5:30PM. Thanos our tour guide was great. Thanks George (driver) for getting us back safely. George drove a large bus through very tight roads.

Thanos did an amazing job giving us a history of the island. He was funny but also very informative. The time in the cities were good to explorer and enjoy. The sites were amazing and gave us a great opportunity to see a lot of the island in s short amount of time. I would definitely recommend this to those I know coming to Naxos.

An enjoyable tour filled with mixed stories of Naxos the island, its people and their life on the island. Add to this the mythology surrounding the various sites we saw and our guide Thanos’ presentation and it was a good day’s outing. Recommended

This is a great tour if your time is limited to 3 days or less in Naxos. Our tour guide RENA was very informative and knowledgeable about the history of Naxos and the important historical sites. She gave information in both English & Italian The driver was amazing driving us around up and down the narrow roads of the mountains. We only wish we could’ve spent more time in Apollonas Beach. We suggest you bring a bathing suit & beach to change into if plan to go in the water. There are bathrooms where you can change. Overall a great experience!

This was the perfect excursion to see as much of this beautiful island as we could in one day. Our guide Thanos was charming, knowledgeable, and helpful! Our driver Panos expertly and safely got us all over the island. All of our activities were interesting and fun! The museum of the olive press, the visits to the citron distillery and the potter’s studio were all intriguing. The visits to the temple of Demeter and the colossus of Dionysus (kouros of Apollonas) were spiritual. The visits to the beautiful towns of Chalki, Apeitanthos, and Apollonas were quite remarkable and made me wish I could stay a bit longer. All in an all, a fantastic experience! I can’t wait to return. -Juan

Sadly an uneventful day

After the hic up and the first rejection of the bus collecting us we finally boarded after a quick call. We continued to the first 1/2 of the trip which was nice however due to a hill fire the trip suddenly came to an end which was a shame, the tour guide who was excellent i have to say managed it pretty well and was very professional. Sadly the trip came to a stop I would of suggest a different route knowing most of the people on the bus have no idea where they are, just take different route and fill the time to give them the day out they wanted. But hats off for the 3 point turn of the bus on a hairpin I salute you!
