Great tour

We enjoyed visiting Olympia, but did it on our own. At the winery and Olive farm, we were also on our own. Our guide Niki was very nice but could not join us.

This was a wonderful tour! Ancient Olympia was awe inspiring and the winery & olive oil farm were a wonderful tour and tasting experience. Our tour guide Niki was very friendly! I would suggest the virtual reality or in person tour guide for Olympia so that you get the full history.

We loved visiting Olympia and traveling thru the Greek countryside. Our guide, Niki, was very knowledgeable of her country and we could tell how much she loves it. She took excellent care of us...sometimes that can be like herding cats! If you go to Katakolon, be sure to go to Olympia and be sure to visit the museum.

We toured with Jimmie who was a great guide. He picked us up promptly at the ship with a sign with our name. He took us to the Olympic site and made sure that we got in with our "skip the line" preference. We were supposed to go to a winery but he said it was busy with buses so we went to a honey farm instead. That was very interesting and we wouldn't have normally done that. He did go out of his way to make sure we saw highlights of Olympia.

We had a wonderful time…our tour guide was FANTASTIC! He took us to the sights of the first Olympics. We went to a beautiful winery and then to a local restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious meal!!!

Great private tour for cruise excursion

Great tour day in Olympia! We were on a cruise and this private tour cost us less than a ship tour and we got to do exactly what we wanted, for exactly as long as we wanted, no waiting for others or traveling in a herd of other passengers. Our guide Dora was lovely and met us promptly at the dock and made sure to get us back to the ship in plenty of time before all aboard time. We did not have the guide for Ancient Olympia which I knew when I chose the tour but keep that in mind. She did provide some information and a tour book for us. Winery/olive farm was a great stop and the beach was beautiful though a bit rocky.

Awesome Visit to Olympia

Our tour guide, Charris (pronounced Harris), was awesome! He planned a great day for us, from Olympia, to a winery, to snacks and drinks on the coast (beautiful location and view), before heading back to our cruise ship. We also booked the VR glasses at Olympia separately (Charris could not go in with us), which made the Olympia visit a lot of fun. Also, great museum at Olympia. Would definitely recommend this tour.

This was our only private tour out of 7 ports on our Greek cruise out of Rome. Our group of friends (8 of us total) requested this tour because our cruise line did not provide any tours for us to choose from at this port (Katakolon) which ended up being a blessing in disguise. It was fantastic to have our own mini-van for just the 8 of us. The tour company was very communicative with all of my questions prior to our trip, and they were on time and specific where to meet on the port on the day of the tour. Fantastic communication which was a concern for me because we were touring a foreign country in which none of us knew the language. We were able to spend a little more time shopping in Olympia which is what we asked for because all of our other tours prior to this never allowed enough time for shopping. More time at the beach would have been nice, but we did ask for more time shopping so that was expected. Fantastic tour all around. It was probably the best tour we had on our trip; maybe because it was just for the 8 of us and we didn't waste any time waiting for slow people we didn't know.

Our driver was 30 minutes late. She wouldn’t admit being late until she finally checked her email and realized she was wrong on the timing. She did provide a lot of history of the area.

Olympia Ruins - Historical

We were picked up out of the port and driven straight to the Olympia Ruins. I had already pre-bought the ticket. Our guide and driver were very nice. They took us to the front of the museum, which we then proceeded to walk to the Ruins. Very nice site with key historical perspectives. Zeus stair (not there anymore) was one of ancient wonders of the world. Did the museum and then we rode to the winery. We waited at the winery as they were trying to have another group come, but we decided we wanted to just return to the town for some shopping and to relax. Nice day

Nikolas was absolutely amazing as our tour guide and driver! He catered our tour to our interests, was very knowledgeable and great company. This tour is perfect for those on a cruise. I could not recommend this tour or Nikolas more! 10/10

Great transfer to Olympia and Winery with Dora

Our tour transfer guide was Dora and she was amazing. She picked us up from the cruise port and stopped in town so we could pick up VR glasses from another vendor before heading to the site. We were in a large group and moving a bit slow so we did t get to see the museum but the actual site was amazing. Dora took us to the winery and they had a table set up specifically for our group to eat food and hear about making olive oil. We got to stop and take photos at the beach and then she returned us back to our cruise port. Her van was very comfortable and we had it all to ourselves for our party of 12 so it was like a private tour. Dora was so amazing, we would recommend this tour to anyone but adding the VR glasses with Back In Time was definitely worth it and likely better than having a personal tour guide. Check it out!

Andrew was great!! He was so friendly and helpful!! There were 4 in our group and we had a whole private bus/van to ourselves. It was awesome! They took us to the museum/ruins for about 2 hours. We had a little extra time so we walked to the Olympic museum down the road. The winery/olive oil farm was so neat!! We got a glass of white wine and a snack as they explained everything to us. They asked if we wanted the snack portion 10€ or the meal €15. We ordered the snack, but they gave us the meal. We also got a large glass of red wine (more like 2 glasses), olive oil tastings, and a big platter of food to try. They did a classic Greek dance for us that was so neat! Definitely recommend this tour!!
