Olympia, it's an amazing cultural site period our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and add it to the value of the trip.
A fun day in Olympia!

Stathopoulos was our driver and guide. He was very knowledgable and his love for Olympia was evident. Although there is an itinerary, he was very flexible in changing as to do a few things that we wanted to do. When doing a private tour,, such as this one, especially when on a cruise, you usually get to places before it gets busy with tour buses. This was the case with the Archsrological Site of Olympia. When we got there, we had the place basically to ourselves. When we left, it became much busier. We also went to Kilo’s Honey Farm. It was very intimate and very welcoming. I highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Stathopulos!

We loved our personal taxi driver who was so sweet and kind. I especially loved they honey farm as the tour was given by the owner of Kilo's The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the Taxi was a bit small for 4 of us and not having a tour guide at Olympia made it a little more difficult to understand what we were seeing. It was 300 euros for 4 of us so these two items would have made it 5 stars.
Great Customized Private Tour

Nykos-Easy Rider- was an excellent guide. We really didn't want to do all of the walking on a standard tour. Nick allowed us to customize our time and we truly enjoyed our time with him. We were able to see where the Olympic torch is lit prior to the Olympic Games. Then we went to the "hanging monastery ". We had beautiful views and were able to meet one of the wonderful sisters who lives there. Afterwards he took us to a restaurant where the locals eat lunch. During our drive around the area we learned about Nick's family and the agriculture in the area. All in all we had a great time.

Dora was the perfect tour guide for us. We avoided the crowds, shifted our plan because of the heat and were so thankful we were not on a large motor coach for an entire day! Dora has a first class small touring van and we loved our time exploring with her.

Our half day private tour was booked for the 6 of us. Panzo was our driver and was very friendly and very accommodating. I wouldn’t call it a tour really, more of having a personal driver. He gave great answers when asked, but didn’t “tour” us really. Which was ok for us, but likely would be disappointing for some who were expecting a full tour. Olympia was great, so so so hot. And the olive oil farm we went to was divine.

Our driver, Nicholas, was right on time waiting for us as we exited the ship. He was an excellent guide and taught us a lot about Olympia. He had a great personality, and was extremely helpful guiding us. We can’t praise him enough and are so glad we took a tour with Viator instead of the cruise ship excursion. Don’t hesitate to book. Very pleased

Our driver was very kind and gave us some basic history of the area. Sometimes, he had a little trouble understanding us. If you are looking for a driver to take you to Olympia and the beach, this is great! Super easy and right on time! It’s not a tour though. When we got to Olympia, he helped us get tickets, but did not give us a guided tour of the ruins. We downloaded a self tour half way through because we didn’t really know what we were looking at. The driver was very kind and he gave us all gifts at the end, so sweet! If you are looking for a driver, this is perfect. If you want a tour, it’s not for you or buy something separately :)

The tour was perfect! Andrew was a great tour guide and so nice and helpful. We had 10 in our group and took the early morning tour. We started at a winery first which felt personal and took the wine and olive oil tasting tour, followed by the Olympic museum and finished our tour at a lovely bar by the beach. It was all in all a great day!

We enjoyed this tour. Katlin and Carlo were nice, polite and knowledgeable. We spent an hour and a half at the Olympia ruins and museum. We could have spent another hour there. It was fascinating. We then went to a honey farm that was very interesting. Great tastes and very informative. We loved the last stop at a hotel with an overlook were we had snacks and wine. All in all a satisfying fun day.

Nikos we asked for local flavor, great food, safe travel, and a bit of history. You delivered it all. The day in the Olympic archeological site was fabulous. Your stories about the area, people and products were interesting. The Olive oil was a nice touch and the eatery you took us to was so good Great trip, solid value and we would choose you as our private driver again Thank you

We were greeted with a luxury mini bus, and they told us lots of details of the area and where we were headed. Olympia itself was a but underwhelming but we also struggled walking with having elderly family members with us. After that we chose to go to a traditional greek lunch and they brought us to a delicious restaurant that was truly some of the best food we've ever had in our lives. The prices were perfect, portions good and what a great way to experience greece! This was absolutely worth it and would use them again

The visit to Olympia was good. Our driver Nickolaos was very nice and informative. The Olympia visit without a guide was a bit challenging, but enjoyable. I would definitely make arrangements to access an audio tour to understand the ruins you are looking at or hire a guide. Nikolaos gave his "lay over" book to walk around with that showed us the original structures compared to the ruins that exist today that provided some information to help guide us. After the visit to Olympia, we very much enjoyed some time at a winery and then a nice, authentic lunch (away from the port). Overall, it was a nice day.

Charis was a wonderful tour guide.....he was knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us get our VR glasses. He also tailored our tour - he suggested a detour to a wine tasting that was fantastic!!! Lovely location and great wines! Highly recommend both Charis and the VR glasses to bring Olympia to life!
Taxi not tour

While this is advertised as a tour, it was actually just a taxi. There were four of us and the back seat was very uncomfortable with three of us crammed in. The driver was very nice. He talked about the economy, but I guess I had expected the commentary to be about the site we were visiting. He handed us a book to reference while we walked the Olympic site on our own but I feel we missed a great deal by not having an actual guide to help explain what we were seeing. I would not recommend this as a tour. It is a taxi pure and simple and you should not expect more than that if you book this.

We had a great day. Our driver was able to get us close to the entrance to the Olympic site and museum which was good since my friend has difficulty walking. She has a wonderful guidebook she lent us which we later bought a copy of in town. We also saw some of the beautiful scenery in the area.
