Älskade den lilla turnén och mycket underhållande guide. Stoppen var bra men vi trodde att vi skulle ha mer än 4 stopp (inklusive glassstoppet, som fakturerades som en gårdstur).

Bra sätt att lära sig om Islands geografi

Vi njöt av turnén och lärde oss om Islands unika geologiska formationer. Vi var mycket välsignade att få se och mata några isländska hästar också. Vi skulle ha velat att gårdsoperatörerna pratade om sin gård och sin hemgjorda glass.

Tour guide was non communicative, didn't share any information regarding tour. Weather was horrible, roads were dangerous and route closed back to Reykjavik. Bad accident on road but driver did stop to check on welfare of accident victims.

Terrible. We had a driver NOT a tour guide. Shared absolutely no site info for over 8 hours. Please give us a full refund.

Troll Tours was the operator. They were fine but our group found a few things lacking. We saw the promised sites but we were not told where we were or where we were headed. Bathroom breaks were few. Our driver tried 3 places before she found an open bathroom ( which took a half hour). The bus was adequate. Had Wi-Fi.

Great locations, tour could be better.

The locations on the tour were beautiful and I definitely recommend visiting them all! However, the tour didn't feel as personalised as I would expect from choosing a small minibus tour rather than a coach. It would have been better if the tour guide had got off the bus with us to give us more information about the different locations or walked with us as I saw other guides doing. The tour was also 2 hours shorter than advertised and there was no Icelandic music on board.

The guide was great, the bus was clean and warm. Our problem was that the weather was dreadful, not the tours fault but could only review what we did/saw. Would be great in decent weather.

Great tour in a smaller setting and great ice cream

I really enjoyed this tour after going on another tour with a different company the day before. The smaller bus of about 20 people felt much more intimate and personal than a large bus with ~60. My tour guide Michael was personable and informative and seemed to really care about making sure we enjoyed our experience. There was adequate time in each location to explore and do the longer walk/hike route if you wanted. The farm visit and ice cream is what differentiates this tour from the many other Golden Circle tours. From the description, I thought it would be more like a petting zoo farm with different animals like the famous sheep with a tour/guide of the farm. This was not the case but we did get to pet and take pictures with Icelandic horses up close and see the cows at the dairy farm. I'm not a big ice cream or dessert person but the ice cream at the farm stop was the best ice cream I can remember eating. I would definitely recommend this tour overall because of the smaller group setting and if you are at all interested in the farm/ice cream stop in addition to the standard Golden Circle attractions.

This is really transportation for point A to B, not a tour. The driver provides very little information during the rides and does not walk you through or introduce you to any of the attractions. Rather, it's a quick two minute intro and then a drop off with a time to return. The itinerary also states that at the last stop, the farm, you'll be able to pet the animals. There was zero animal interaction. We got to see some cows feeding while enjoying our one free scoop but that was it. And as others have noted, you don't see the mountain lake that other tours include. If you just need transportation to the stops this is for you. If you're expecting to learn, or be guided, this is not for you.

The Tour Guide was very professional and courteous and he took care of our needs like family. We got to see the waterfall from a very close angle and that was very memorable for me. He also made my hiking tour very interesting by pointing out all of the historical and important events and landmarks along the route. The trip was a great success and I would recommend your company to my family and friends

👍Die Tour mit Troll.is war wirklich sehr schön, neben all den “Standard-Highlights” des Golden Circle hatten wir mit Oscar einen sehr engagierten Guide, der uns nicht nur von A nach B gefahren, sondern unterwegs sehr viel über die Geschichte und Geologie des Landes erklärt hat - dieses hat die Fahrt sicher zu einem besonderen Highlight unserer Island-Reise gemacht👍
