Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion about this tour on TripAdvisor. We greatly value all feedback as it helps us improve our services. We apologize for the lines in Lindos during your visit in early May. Unfortunately, working with groups makes it difficult to avoid queues. The number of visitors to the Acropolis depends not only on the season but also on the number of cruise ships in our port on any given day, which is a matter of luck. If you prefer to avoid crowds, we recommend booking private tours. If you are interested in exploring the archaeological sites on Rhodes in more detail, we suggest booking a tour that allows for more time at these locations. Typically, two hours are sufficient to visit the Acropolis, assuming you don't mind the ticket line, which usually moves quite fast.
Regarding the lady you mentioned, she could have easily made it to the minibus, but she had some issues with her friend. That's why she called our office to inform us of her decision to return to the hotel. We regret that you did not enjoy the charming village of Embona and the wine tasting experience, which receives numerous positive reviews daily. Another couple from your group mentioned tasting 9 delicious wines, so it seems unlikely that they were able to do so within just 20 minutes.
I would like to clarify that the food provided by Karavolias bakery was not a burger, but a delicious Greek sandwich, considered one of the best in Rhodes. We apologize if there was any confusion regarding the location of the National Theatre in relation to your hotel, which was just an 8-minute walk away. Fortunately, it didn't pose an issue, but we always inquire if our guests mind walking such distances, especially in the narrow streets of Rhodes town. We usually pick up the majority of our guests from the main hotels, except for those staying in smaller hotels/apartments in the Old and Rhodes Town. We ask if they would prefer proceeding to the pick-up spot to save time for the tour.
We understand that you didn't find anything magical about the Seven Springs, but we encourage you to revisit it and perhaps discover its charm on another occasion. Fortunately, Kritinia was able to meet your expectations. However, beauty is subjective, and everyone perceives things differently. While Rhodes may not be as impressive as some other destinations with iconic museums like the Louvre, Uffizi Gallery, or Hermitage, we have a deep love for our beautiful island and strive to show it to our guests the way we see and cherish it. Best regards from sunny Rhodes
