Zoe was a great guide. She was very knowledge, witty, and had a great sense of humor. Listening to the history of the area with a touch of humor was entertaining and kept you tuned in Id definitely recommend her and the tour. Also met some great people with us in the group.

Our guide Marc was very well versed in the history of Sweden and Stockholm. His humour was appreciated and made everyone feel at ease. He answers all questions and even looked up additional information to share as well. Would highly recommend the tour and Marc as an excellent guide!!

A fantastic walking tour through Gamla Stan.. in the snow! Arturo was incredibly knowledgeable and led our tour very sympathetically through the snow, taking us to sheltered spots for sharing interesting talking points, and a fantastic Fika stop! One of the best things we did in Stockholm. Definitely do this tour if you are considering it!

Oscar was an amazing tour guide. He was full of interesting stories and information and was easy to joke with, keeping the group engaged and energized. It was cold and snowy, but the time flew by! Tek Oscar!

Toyah is very experienced and very bubbly in nature. She begins the walking tour by telling a story of the history and the places that we passed by. She is able to bring us certain places which is “hidden” from the locals. A wonderful tour guide and passionate in what she does! Thumbs up 👍 Highly recommended

Beware - this tour is operated by a free walking tour company

This tour was actually operated by a free walking tour company so was a very large group. The tour guide was reasonably knowledgeable but was not Swedish and was not a professional guide. If you are paying up front for a tour then you should be told that it is operated by a free walking tour company - by paying up front you lose the flexibility to base your payment on the quality of the tour which is the free waking tour model - in this case the tour was ok but not great and certainly not worth the amount paid.

Regarding your concerns, we are a Free Tour company, and it is written in the description of our profile. We also write "you can book for free on our website". However, Viator doesn't allow for "pay what you want" bookings, therefore we calculated how much was the average which people pay that is 140 SEK, and then Viator takes 25% commission fee, so the price you paid was 200 SEK. We are very grateful for your review, this way the next people booking the activity will see that they can book for free on our website and decide later how much to pay. The guide. I’ve been on a fair few trips and safe to say that Zoe is the best walking tour guide I’ve come across.. even on a bitterly cold morning (-12c) with snow falling in between, she managed to hold our attention and keep the group together.. the whole energy and the humor she brings add to the overall experience..
