Det här kan du vänta dig

Precis innan solen går ned, träffar du din naturguide i centrala Stockholm, vid Kungsbro strand 21. Kliv in i den bekväma minibussen och så kör vi ut ur staden för att påbörja din safari.

De täta skogarna och grönskande ängarna i den svenska landsbygden är bara en kort bilresa från huvudstaden. Njut av de vackra omgivningarna medan du åker genom landskap fulla av hus med vita knutar, och bege dig djupt in i skogen. Vilda djur, bland annat fåglar, harar, älg, rådjur och vildsvin finns överallt. Innan du ger ut för att söka efter dessa varelser avnjuter du en midsommarmåltid vid ett läger, medan guiden ger en kort introduktion till området och dess inhemska flora och fauna. Håll ögonen öppna efter älg, som är kända för att komma fram under skymningen på jakt efter mat och vatten.

Följ med på en 15 minuter lång vandring genom en stillsam skog med din guide. Stoppa för att se gamla runstenar från vikingatiden och lär dig om deras historia.

Vid slutet av en 4-timmars safariupplevelse återvänder du till centrala Stockholm för avlämning.

We spent an unforgetable moment with Erik. We did not expect to see that much animals but we ended up with a record of 33 deers, 7 rabbits and 2 mooses 🤠 (and 2 fisher-men 😄). Erik is such a good guide, explaining everything with a lot of passion (and with a great English). A good swedish meal, and then an amazing safari will be our best souvenir of Sweden. 🇫🇷🇸🇪 Tak tak tak Merci beaucoup 😍 Manon & Arthur

Terribly misleading and disappointing

A great guide but a misleading experience. Farm lands, a car driving among the fields but nothing wild. Seeing some deer in the distance with binoculars is no safari and certainly not worth the price.

Hi We are sorry we didn't meet your expectations for the Evening Wildlife Safari from Stockholm. In the description of the activity it is a stated that this is a van based tour and we drive around farm lands and fields because it gives us greater chances to see the Stockholm wildlife than if we would hike into the forest, since we would make more noise. Many thanks for taking the time to review us. We hope you enjoyed your time in Stockholm despite your obvious disappointment in this tour

It was a very cool trip for me as we saw deers, 2 brown moose & 1 white moose & hares. We also had a nice swedish midsommer meal after a nice short walk in a swedish forest. Our guide Louise was very knowledgeable & informative. I learned sooooo much. Tack sa mycket. Merci Beaucoup.

Potential for disappointment

Our guide was super lovely and knowledgable. Was good to get out of the city centre too. However as u cannot guarantee a moose sighting- there is huge potential for disappointment, making the entire activity a bit pointless (we have deer and hare back home). I appreciate that others have been more successful - so I guess it's just crapshoot.

We understand that a moose sighting is often the highlight of the evening, but as with any safari, wildlife spotting cannot be guaranteed. Fabulous alternative experience of Stockholm

Last night my husband and I went on the Sunset Safari, and there was nothing we could fault. Our guide was great, friendly and knowledgeable. She sent us off foraging in the forest for blueberries and lingonberries whilst she prepared a midsummer meal for us in a clearing. We then set off wildlife hunting, and were so fortunate as we saw a moose and her young, lots of deer leaping through the corn fields, crane and hares. Excellent binoculars too. The evening sped by. Would highly recommend.

The evening started with a drive to a pretty place for a typical Swedish meal. We had three types of pickled herring, potatoes, crackers with cheese, and a salad. So much food. We saw every kind of animal expected: hares, foxes, wild boar families, roe deer, a squirrel, and several moose. Our guide, Toya (I'm sorry that the name is probably not right), could not have been more engaging. Ten stars!

The guide was very nice and quite informative and the outdoor picnic was tasty but I do think this tour is massively overpriced for the content. There were 8 of us on the tour all paying around 114 per head presumeably - overheads for 1 guide, mini bus and inexpensive picnic content made it seem a bit of a rip off to be honest. Also I know the wildlife cannot be quaranteed but on a 4 hour tour we literally saw a couple of moose for 30 seconds so far away you wouldn't know what they were, then a few roe deer and one fox. We didn't do a 15 minute trek into the forest as advertised and nor did we visit the ancient runes, so all in all pretty underwhelmed and certainly felt we did not get our money's worth.

OK. Could have been better for the price if the wildlife expert had not been sick. The meal was good and a lot of fun. More information, a bit of a bush walk and explosion about plants and animals such as eating , breeding , berries edible in the forest etc. Sadly only deer around for our trip. No Moose .

Very nice trip to see the local animals. Tour provides a wonderful picnic dinner featuring Swedish favorites including Swedish fish. Our tour guide was terrific and personable. He made sure that we were comfortable and spoke effectively about the flora and fauna of the local area. He did a great job spotting animals for us too. The touring van was in top notch condition, it was just my wife and I and the guide/driver. We had 2 full days in Stockholm and wanted to see some of the area outside the city. this tour accomplished that and more.

A refreshing trip out of the city. Our guide met us promptly, and we loaded up and drove about 20 minutes into the countryside. Our first stop was for a delicious feast of Swedish specialties- and they even catered to those of us who were Gluten Free! Then we were all provided with binoculars and instructions on how to look for moose. We drove through lovely farm areas, looking in Rapeseed fields, and finally spotted a moose. We also saw Roe deer, hares, cranes, swans, and a hawk. Our guide was knowledgeable and had a love of the animals and the forests. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Sweden.

We were very lucky to see 10 Moose even though it was getting pretty dark for the last 6. It was pretty amazing. The Swedish meal was great and my gluten free requirement was catered for with no problem. Only one criticism was that the bus windows were dirty and since you are looking for Moose in near darkness in the distance from inside a small bus/people mover this was surprising and a little disappointing. Otherwise a great tour and great value for money.

Fine tour and several sightings of moose, wild boar, roe deer, hare/rabbit. Knowledgeable guide who also was a careful, smooth driver, with an able assistant. Pleasant midsummer meal and good companion guests on the tour. Altogether an interesting, fine evening out, giving an indepth view of Swedish wildlife and their care for the countryside.

We had a great time on the tour. We stopped for Fika coffee and sweets at a small picnic area. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and did her best to make sure we saw animals. Highlight of the trip was seeing a moose and being able to get out and get some photos of it in the field. Great experience!

Very fantastic n true nature excursion. Tour operator is very co -operating n creative, saw real forest n wild life of Sweden. Feel of countryside n ride in Sweden historic places was also fine. Definitely a must for every nature lover
