Se en ny sida av Stockholm och fördjupa dig i naturen på denna halvdagsvandringstur för små grupper. Träffas i stadens centrum, hoppa ombord på ditt klimatkontrollerade fordon och bege dig till Tyresta nationalparks gamla skogar precis när solen börjar gå ner. Du kommer att följa din guide längs leden, kommer att hålla utkik efter vilda djur som älgar och ugglor. Från oktober till mars bjuder vi på svensk fika och varma drycker och från april till september bjuder vi på kall middag.

Flora and Fauna galore!

Lucas was a fantastic guide! He was so knowledgeable about the forest plants and animal tracks. He knew where we were likely to see wildlife, and indeed, we saw a fox, hares and a couple types of deer. It was really a wonderful opportunity to visit the natural world outside Stockholm.

Oscar is the BEST guide. He truly loves nature and sharing his knowledge. We took the metro from old town Stockholm and it dropped us off within walking distance of the pickup point. From there we took a van to the hiking area. Along the way Oscar stopped to point out signs of animals (I don’t want to give too much away). The first part is a hike in the woods that leads to a very pretty lake. Along the way Oscar showed us lots of plants, berries, and explained how nature thrives in such a cold climate. It was really interesting. Our son is 11 and had no problem on the hike, but it is long so I would recommend it for kids 8+ as younger kids may get tired. Oscar made a simple dinner for everyone at the lake and taught us to make fire using flint (my son’s favorite part :) After that it was dusk so we hiked back and got into the van to seek wildlife that come out at that time. We were very fortunate, because we saw so many animals: lots of deer (with fawn), wild boar (with a baby), a fox, and a moose. Oscar kindly dropped us off back at the metro at the end of the tour.

A lovely hike in the woods of Sweden

We had been traveling through the cities of Scandinavia for 8 days, so this evening hike on the national park was a welcome change of pace. Lucas was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide, clearly highly experienced. We saw hares, wild deer, and wild boar.

Ok excursion if you have extra time in Stockholm but nothing special. Didn’t see many animals but nice to be outdoors. For us, it was not worth the price.

We had an amazing hike and saw many deer. Our tour guide Jacob was a very nice and knowledgeable guy. Was great to get out of the city and enjoy nature for a couple of hours. If that is your thing, I strongly recommend it.

This is probably my favourite trip in Stockholm! Even though the weather was cloudy but I was still amazed by the Swedish forest lands. Its very nice to hear nature whispering. My guide Oscar is great on explaining all kinds knowledge about the plants, trees, wild animals, houses along the trip, It was super interesting and I learned a lot about Swedish culture. It was a causal tour so good for people wanting a break from stress. I was been able to see lots of deers, cows, some crane and one boar. Towards the end of the trip, we also stopped by a lake and luckily there were two reindeer and it was surprising to hear the sound they make~ Overall it was a lovely trip and thanks for providing this amazing experience! Recommend to all.

Our guide, Oscar, did a great job. We were able t o see a good variety of wildlife including moose, , boar, deer, and even a badger. Saw a lovely crane. Dinner was simple but fine around a nice fire. I recommend the trip to get off the beaten path of standard tourist fare of palaces and museums.

Um first of all. I was the only person on the tour and they didn't cancel on me. I appreciate that cause I wouldn't have been able to go otherwise. Daniel was great guide! Friendly and knowledgeable. I saw 4 moose 🫎! Wow. I saw lots of deer 🦌 a hair 🐇 and a several boars 🐗. The hike was cool. We had a cool camp fire and simple but good meal. The woods are beautiful. Thank you true nature sweden for a great experience. Did I mention I saw 4 moose 🫎.

Scouting Swedish style

A fantastic afternoon with our Scouting teenagers, learning lots from our guide Daniel. A beautiful location, enjoyable hike with some snow/ice underfoot and delicious Fika/drinks overlooking the frozen lake. Lovely to see lots of wildlife and learn about those we didn’t manage to see. A lovely start to our short family break, enjoying nature and time to relax! We would have loved the campfire experience had we visited on a later tour.

Great to see that you had a good time with us in our beautiful nature. It is difficult to do a fire unfortunately because it takes too much on the animal spotting time we have. We do fires on our hike and kayak tours. Hope to see on either of them.

Wonderful evening adventure in a Swedish nature reserve

Had a wonderful evening outside the city on this adventure. We went on a short hike through the woods to a beautiful lakeside location, shared a simple dinner, and then went searching for Swedish wildlife. Got to see so many deer, a badger, and a large group of wild boar. It was a nice change from the city and the Swedish outdoors is lovely. Our tour guide was terrific!

We had a tour on 2nd August 2022 at 19:00. We were part of the 1st group and Team UK 🌱 10/10 experience from the tour guide (sorry I’ve forgotten your name 😢) My partner and I sat in front of the mini bus and enjoyed chatting to everyone including the tour guide. We went for a hike first whilst we waited for it to get dark, had Swedish FIKA which was to die for! ☕️ I helped the guide tidy up as it just felt like the right thing to do, I’ve always been told to help others 🌿 We hiked back to the mini bus ready for the Safari but during the hike we saw lots of animals (small roads, ants 🐜, catapillers, birds of prey, pond skaters) we also had a very informative guide who was teaching us about the plant life and how some of the plants have been useful to the natives in the past etc - SO MUCH HISTORY WHICH I THOUGHT WAS FANTASTIC! Following the hike the safari was amazing! YOU ARE IN THE TRANSPORT TO NOT SCARE THE ANIMALS! They’re used to the cars etc but not humans! So please don’t mark these lovely people down for that! Also a safari tends to be like this anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️ We saw lots of animals throughout the 1.5- 2hrs safari: Deer x 4 Wild boar x 2 Hare x 2 Baby hare x 1 Moose x 2 Fox x 2 Owl x 1 We even saw a hunter camouflaged thanks to my partner and his terrific eyesight - the hunter was there to aid a wounded moose so don’t panic! Overall it was just a wonderful experience and definitely worth the money in our eyes! Nothing is gaurenteed but if you help the guide look for animals and inform them if you think you see something they will stop and check! ❤️ Thank you so much for the experience, sorry I couldn’t remember your name, I wish I could! I will try to get my partner on board to become a tour guide for you lovely people 😅🌿 See you soon hopefully for more adventures! Thanks again 🇸🇪
