Such a memorable & fabulous experience. Sunrise Uluru base walk surpassed our expectations. Thank you so much to AAT Kings for the guided tour and the cultural information shared with us, always ensuring respect was maintained. Eating cereal behind a fly net is certainly a first for us😂.

It was a unique experience to visit Uluru by walking the entire base and learning about the lives of the Anangu people and their stories of Uluru. Our guides Glen and Mitch and driver Lucy were knowledgeable, fun and super friendly and their positivity and authenticity made it a great morning.

Aside from the pouring freezing weather, the walk in all its glory with waterfalls, was spectacular. Jimmy and Jess were the best tour guides and even spotted my daughter their jacket. Learnt so much on the walk. Very knowledgeable

Highlight of my trip to the centre of Australia. You can’t say you’ve been to Uluru without doing this beautiful walk. Our guide Dan was excellent and we throughly enjoyed.

We walked anticlockwise which meant the sun rose behind us. This stopped us walking with the sun in our eyes. Breakfast was simple. Guide was knowledgeable. Everyone should do this at least once.

Our guide Glen was absolutely brilliant. He was friendly and chatted to everyone. Having a 1st Australian telling us about the Uluru creation stories and giving us details of indigenous lives and language was magical. We also learnt about the geology of the area. Tourists of all ages were able to complete the walk and it was well organised with breaks and a snack half way round.

We had a wonderful time walking around the rock and listening to stories from our tour guide, Glen, who was fantastic! The pace was fairly fast, a couple of people dropped out unfortunately, but we preferred it to a slower pace. I would have given 5 stars but the breakfast is really poor, it’s light refreshments at best. You stop for ‘breakfast’ half way around so you’ll definitely want to eat before and we brought fruit and nuts and snacks with us which was needed!

Tour started at 6.15 and we arrived at Uluru at sunrise. The Guide explained a lot of nature and history and the Tour Took about 5 hours. We returned at the Yulara town at 12 o‘clock - so calculate approximately 6 hours for this tour!

Words can’t describe the beauty of Uluru.

Great morning exercise in cooler temperatures, spectacular scenery, great stories and narrative, very knowledgable and effusive guide. Need to be reasonably fit for a 12 km/7.2 mile hike.

Change up the tour or do independent of a base walk

This was very fast paced for a full tour with our guide way ahead of us. We think our tour guide worked hard but it probably should have started earlier with the guide able to use a headset for us to hear along the way. We could have just been dropped off to walk it alone for what we did here. The continental breakfast was all packaged with packets of coffee-instant- for the money- it seemed better to do it independently as this didn’t seem much of a guided tour

Our tour guide Glen was awesome. He told us stories on our walk around the rock. All of the crew was great, we had a nice spread for breakfast. Great morning at Uluru!!

Really enjoyed the tour. My 6 year old kids made the first leg of the tour walking so it’s not that bad . Do take fly nets because those pesky suckers will land on your eyeballs given the chance . So eat before you go I know it’s early but trust me you’ll need it . I won’t complain about the food served it was ok considering uluru food options are extremely limited and accessibility to everything or maybe I’m just spoilt Sydney sider . :/ But I would do this again in a heartbeat!!!! So don’t hum and ahhhh just book it , you’ll love it !
