Amazing Rock/Yummy BBQ/Too Many People/Bad Time Management
Sara_G, apr. 2024
Loved that we saw the rock from all angles and could see how much detail it had and learned some of the legends about the rock's formations. Wonderful to see the little waterfall and lagoon inside the rock. And it was great that we could even touch the rock at one particular place. The BBQ dinner at sunset was lovely! NEGATIVES: 1) Your publicity material guarantees a group of no more than 30 people max. There were 49 people in our group! So false advertising. 2) Our guide mismanaged the time so that we arrived at the Cultural Center 10 minutes before it closed. This was most unfortunate because the Center looked very interesting and there was lots to see and learn there. We really missed out on that.
Do not miss this

Our tour guide, Yad, was wonderful. He told stories and legends of the local people. He was able to point out all of the interesting sights and give great explanations. Seeing Uluru at sunset was a fun and unique experience. As many have mentioned, the many, many flies during the BBQ were annoying but the experience was wonderful in spite of them.

Possibly the best ever day’s experience. And we are very widely travelled across all continents. Tour guide, driver (and cook!) was fantastic, thanks YAD BRAR

Sunset at Uluru and the outback BBQ. Stories and legends as told by the tour guide were extremely interesting
Too hot and too many flies!!
Lori_D, mars 2024
Seeing Uluru was quite an experience but I would recommend going when the weather is cool. It was 106F and the flies were awful.

Yad was amazing. His knowledge impeccable. A man who wore many hats that day - from driver to tour guide to chef. We had a wonderful full day with spectacular views

Both Uluru and Kata Juta are amazing sites. The guide, Yad, was personable and knowledgeable. The dinner wa a really traditional Aussie BBQ. ( Including canned beetroot!)

Uluru, a Magnificent Cultural and Geological Experience
Edward_W, feb. 2024
The sights of Uluru and Kata Tjuta unique, amazing and unforgettable. Our guide, Yad, was scholarly in his discussion of the sacred meaning of the site, as well as with his geological explanation. It was hot, there were a lot of flies, but by getting out the base of the rock, we all had a fantastic experience. The barbecue was very good, and the sunset was the frosting on the cake. It was well worth the trip.
Not worth it

Friendly guide and you get to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta, those are the only two positive things about this tour. You have to be lucky if you want to sit next to your partner on the coach, because you join a big excisting group, allready coming from Alice Springs, with a lot of single travellers who all sit apart from eachother, occupying a two person bench. And none of them suggests to move out of their spacious seats. The most intensive walk, the one at Kata Tjuta, is at the hottest part of the day. Definitely bring a fly mask with you, because the moment you get out of the bus, you get surounded by flies. I don´t exxagerate if I say that a lot of times I had 20 flies and more, sitting on the front of my fly mask alone. Although a fly mask helps you get through the day pretty comfortable, having your plate attacked with flies at the dinner really doesn´t make it worth the money. You have to keep an eye at your bites till the last moment to make sure you don´t eat a fly with it. It´s a shame because the food by itself is really taste, but they shouldn´t offer the bbq dinner at times with this high fly activity. Or at least mention it very clearly it advance. Also the snacks and fruit they provide, is nothing more than a box of candy that get passed around once, and an apple.

Stunning views and good historical perspective from tour guide. Only setback, too many flies and a but too hot to walk in the sun.
Tour lated over 1hour,No fruit and snack,Air conditioner not working.very Bad
Jackie_P, jan. 2024
Tour has been delayed over 1hour for picking up time. The "fruit and snack" just an apple and some lollies during the tour. Air conditioner inside the Coach/Bus was not working properly. Dont recommend and should use other tours provider instead.
A great and knowledgeable...

Best tour in Ulrulu n Kata Tjuta
Liza_C, nov. 2023
The tour best for us to explore basic of Aboriginal culture; appreciating natural wonders in the areas. The sunset dinner was a great experience. We find the vibe is much better than the Field of Lights Sunset dinner we attended a day ago. Highlights of the tour is the excellent n profressional service from our tour guide, Yad who was great; friendly, gave us the right pace n clearer information during the tour. Such a all-rounder(driver; tour guide n bbq 🍳). We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends in the future 😀
Not to be missed.
Jeremy_C, nov. 2023
Yad was our tour guide from Emu Run Experience (no we didn’t chase any Emus) he was very knowledgeable and the perfect guide, Uluru was breathtaking and not to be missed, it was a once in a life time experience, the BBQ in the evening was fantastic with more food than we could eat, loads fizz, red / white wine, local beer and soft drinks. Kata tjuna was also eye opening, Yad knew his stuff and kept us well informed regarding indigenous culture and folk law. The only downside was that we booked a trip for 30 maximum people as we prefer the more intimate experiences however there were approximately 50 people on a full bus, otherwise not to be missed.
Uluru and the Kata Tjunta experience

The view and scenery were worth the trip from Sydney. Had a great time and BBQ dinner at sunset topped it off. Our tour guide Miguel was great and explained many stories to us. We were lucky to have him twice. Loved it!
