Bästa Prosecco-turnén!

Min man och jag tog denna turné och kunde inte ha varit lyckligare. Chiara, vår sommelierguide, är mycket kunnig om vin och området i allmänhet. Vi lärde oss så mycket av henne under dagen. Det var väldigt lätt att träffa henne i utkanten av Venedig och bilresan norrut var trevlig och bekväm. Vi besökte 3 vingårdar, som alla var utmärkta och hade kunnig personal som guidade oss genom våra provningar. Chiara lade till ytterligare information och gjorde oss lugna omedelbart så vi kände oss fria att ställa frågor längs vägen. Vi rekommenderar starkt denna turné!

Fantastisk upplevelse

Min man och jag gjorde den här turnén nyligen och hade en fantastisk tid! Chiara är mycket kunnig och svarade på alla våra frågor. Kändes som att vi lärde oss mycket! Lunchstället på Duca di Dolle med fantastisk utsikt var det som sticker ut för mig. Chiara ordnade också snällt middagsbokningar för oss tillbaka i Venedig, vilket var riktigt härligt och mycket uppskattat! Det enda jag skulle säga är att vi hade vår första provning kl. 11.00. Våra kroppsklockor var fortfarande på brittisk tid, så kände mig lite på den tidiga sidan att dricka klockan 10! Vi drev igenom dock; )

Prosecco-land!

Vi (grupp av 6 vuxna) träffade Chiara, vår guide i Piazza Roma. Där hade hon en förare som väntade på att ta oss till Prosecco Hills. Transporten var i en mycket trevlig klimatstyrd Mercedes skåpbil. Mycket bekväm åktur! Chiara började berätta om området och Prosecco. Vi gjorde en Prosecco-provsmakning och sedan till en otrolig äkta lunch. Efter lunch åkte vi till en ekologisk vingård där vi gjorde en annan provsmakning. Prosecco-området är mycket vackert! Chiara kunskap om området och vingårdar var mycket informativ och hjälpsam. När vi återvände till Venedig ordnade Chiara en vattentaxi för att ta oss tillbaka till gatan. Mark's Square-området. Chiara var mycket hjälpsam med allt vi behövde!

There is more to Prosecco than you think

My wife and I opted for a private tour and it was worth every penny. Chiara was a fabulous guide from start to finish. With a prompt pickup in Piazzale Roma at 0930, Chiara gave us an overview for the day as we rode from Venice to the Hills. We had three very distinct stops on the tour starting with a tasting at La Tordera in the heart of the Valdobbiadene DOCG area, between Venice and the Dolomites. We had an informative tour of the facility from the receiving area, through pressing, fermentation and bottling. The process is much different than Franciacorta production. After the tour we had the best tasting of the 5 tastings we had on our entire vacation. It was a nice way to kickoff the day. The next stop was an unexpected treat up in the gorgeous, steep hills of Valdobbiadene. While we were enjoying the fabulous views, we saw a sign that pointed up the path that said "Prosecco vending machine". Yes - a vending machine of sparkling wine. Here we sampled a small bottle of unfiltered Frizzante. It was a beautiful view and a nice change of pace. Next stop - lunch. We had a great lunch at a local restaurant with the best seat in the house overlooking the vineyards. Of course I ordered a nice bottle of Marsuret San Boldo Brut since now we knew all about the glera grapes, prosecco making and food pairing. If we would have ended the day here it would have been considered a great day. Last stop, Bartolomiol. Here we had another extensive tour of the wine making facilities and an excellent tasting. The Audax Zero was a real surprise and for our tastes the Zeros, Extra Bruts and Bruts really stood out from what people traditionally think of when they think of Prosecco. This was another excellent winery and tasting - in this case, a larger producer. We loved Chiara as a guide - she was born and raised in the area and had the local knowledge of the history, geography and wine-making. This tour is favoloso! Thanks again!

Perfect day trip in the Prosecco hills

Chiara was wonderful! We had such a great time on this day trip from Venice and felt that the tour was tailored to our individual preferences. We visited two wineries in the region, both different in method and process, where we enjoyed a full tasting at each. We also visited the L'Osteria senz'Oste where we enjoyed chilled prosecco from a vending machine while overlooking the beautiful scenery. Lastly, we were taken to a lovely spot for lunch where we got to sit outside and soak up the view some more, and more prosecco! It was the perfect escape from the city and we learned so much about prosecco itself, and the region as a whole.

Prosecco Hills - A Memorable Day!

Absolutely loved this tour! Our guide Chiara and driver were amazing! They were very accommodating to our needs and Chiara shared lots of interesting information. By the end of the day we were well versed in how Prosecco is produced and how to know the difference in quality of Prosecco when buying at the store or restaurant. Loved the fact that it was a private tour (we were five) where we could spend extra time in places that we wanted to take photos or just simply relax and take in the beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that loves the countryside and has an appreciation for Prosecco.

Belle journée d'excursion dans la Vénétie

Notre guide Chiara est très sympathique et à l'écoute de nos besoins et intérêts. Les paysages valent le détour. Les dégustations nous ont beaucoup appris sur les différentes méthodes de fermentation. Nous avons même eu droit à une dégustation d'un Prosecco plat. Merci Chiara pour cette belle journée à l'extérieur de Venise!
