Best experience ever
Justine_R, Mar 2024
This two day excursion was by far my best experience in Jordan. we saw the most important sites in Jordan and it was amazing. I can only recommend this tour to everyone! plus our guide and driver Jafar was amazing. The tour would not have been the same without him, he is very kind and professional and drives very well. I always felt safe whether in the car or during activities thanks to his advice. He even suggested that we change the program a little by taking the jeep tour at the end of the afternoon (+ sunset), to have time to go to the Red Sea the next day, where we could do a boat tour whose floor was transparent. all 4 sites visited were great, but the Wadi Rum Desert was definitely the best (and I chose the classic tent which was perfectly fine, even in February). In short, this tour is incredible, everything is very well organized and we had enough time in each of the sites. + fully suitable for vegetarian Thank you so much for everything!
Highly Recommend (read for my version of the itinerary).

Had an amazing time! Went as a solo traveler and my group was fantastic! Got picked up in Amman, went to Petra for about 4 hours. We could have been there longer if we chose to do wadi rum in the morning but I highly recommend going to/touring wadi rum in the evening on the first night since it will be much warmer than in the morning the next day. If you want to see everything in Petra, I recommend taking a shuttle/taxi to little Petra, explore it for 15 minutes (that’s all you need), then take a shuttle/jeep to the monastery and then take a donkey the rest of the way. That took us about 2 hours in total because we weren’t rushing. Then we mistakingly spent an hour at the monastery because there is a bar/mini restaurant up there but that only left us with an hour to get back to the van. We made it just in time and were still able to see everything but the only thing we didn’t have time to do was check out the royal tombs but you can still see them from a distance while you’re walking on the main road back. We opted to have lunch in the van on our way to wadi rum so we could explore it in the evening. Had a great dinner at the campsite and had a very comfortable stay. Next morning we had a great breakfast at the camp and then headed to the Dead Sea which was about 4-5 hour drive with multiple stops on the way for snacks and coffee. The resort at the Dead Sea was amazing. We had a “mud bath” and went into the sea and when we were done we spent some time in the pool and the hot tub at the resort. Then head back to Amman. Our driver was amazing and loved to make jokes with us and definitely made it an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this trip because it just went smoother than if I just went myself. It was also nice to meet people as a solo traveler. Definitely recommend getting the Jordan pass as well if you’re staying at least 3 nights in Jordan because it makes everything much cheaper.
an expensive taxi

Was okay as a last minute way to see Jordan without having to plan or think. Wadi Rum needs more than an evening. Don't bother going if you don't have enough time for a couple nights to get away from the crowds. In retrospect, I would have just caught the bus (book online), go to Petra for a couple days. Way cheaper, way less of a rush.
No regrets signing up for this tour
SitiFatimah_M, Jan 2024
With no advanced planning, limited time and minimum expectations, my friend and I decided to sign up for this tour as it promised to cover some key highlights of what Jordan had to offer. This tour did not disappoint. We were picked up from our hotel by our tour guide, Ahmad who got in contact to update on the pick up time. Ahmad accompanied us throughout the 2 day tour except within Petra, which needs to be organised separately. We opted to explore Petra ourselves as opposed to hiring a tour guide. Due to our limited time in Jordan, we wanted the flexibility of choosing where to spend more time on and when to leave. Even without a tour guide, exploring Petra by ourselves was sufficient for us as there was so much to see. The structures and landscape were so awe inspiring with plenty of photo ops. The information provided in the visitor’s map was also enough in my view. I suggest to discuss lunch options with the tour guide for after Petra as you will be exhausted and starving once you’re done. As we had discussed with Ahmad the possibility of seeing Madaba on the way to the Dead Sea the following day, he suggested we try to complete the desert tour of Wadi Rum within the first day. The tour of Wadi Rum was personally the highlight of the tour for me. The landscapes were beautiful and indescribable, something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. The day ended at the Camp where we would have dinner and spend the night. We signed up for the normal ‘tent’ which was more like a bare bones cabin but which did include blankets, USB ports for charging, and lights. We had to use the shared toilets which were in a separate area from the tent/cabin, less than a minute’s walk but it was very clean. Due to the extremely cold weather, there were very few people on the tour with us and most had signed up for the deluxe tents which had ensuite toilets. This meant only my friend and I ended up using the shared toilet. All this aside, we spent every possible waking minute just enjoying the sunset view of the desert and the stars as they appeared. I would suggest that if you are like us, crazy enough to do this trip during winter, do pack extra warm clothes for the night to bundle up under the covers. It was freezing during the night. The next day, we left Wadi Rum to make our way to Madaba, Mt Nebo and the Dead Sea. The most breathtaking view of Wadi Mousa was from Mt Nebo. We had to pay an additional USD40 for lunch at the resort where we could access the Dead Sea. As we were not very prepared for this trip there was no swimming for us. Regardless, after a full day of sightseeing, we appreciated being able to have lunch and were content to just see the beautiful views of the sea. At the end of the tour, we were then brought back to our hotel in Amman. A summary of my experience & some suggestions: - The tour was a glimpse into how wonderful Jordan is as a whole - the landscapes, the sights, the people. Our hosts at the camp were hospitable and helpful. Dinner was a blast. - We were lucky to have Ahmad as our tour guide. Easy for us to discuss what we wanted out of our tour, timing, accommodating with our requests and patient with our questions. We had no issues with his driving and we felt we were in safe hands. - Be prepared with small change, for tipping especially in Wadi Rum - Do tip your driver/tour guide that will accompany you for the duration of the tour - The Jordan Pass covers your visa charges and entry into a few of Jordan’s sites except the Dead Sea. Worth the JOD 70 and even more so if you are intending to visit longer.
Once in a Lifetime Experience
Dean_P, Oct 2023
This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Don't forget to buy your Jordan Pass as it will save you time and money for your visa on arrival and entrance fees to both Petra and Wadi Rum. Our guide picked us up on time and we got lots of quality time in at Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. Make sure you bring a little extra cash - it cost us 46 Jordanian Dinar for tickets and lunches that were not included in the list price. The van and accommodations were comfy. We did a regular private tent in October and felt the shared bathroom/showers were fine and had no issues with temperature in the private tent. If you want to splurge you can go for the deluxe but we didn't think it was worth it after seeing both options. This felt authentic and everyone we met along the way were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner that were included were fantastic.
Unforgeteble experience
Katarzyna_G, Oct 2023
I loved the Wadi Rum desert. Spending night there is an unforgeteble experience and the food was amazing. Our driver was really helpful and gave us a lot of information during the tour.
Great tour

The tour guide went out of his way to make sure we were completely happy with the tour. Tour leader was very informative and made sure we were on time all the time. The tour was very good value for money
Best Tour we Have Ever Been On! Anywhere!
Debby_S, Sep 2023
The pick up and drop off at hotel was seamless and well communicated. We choose the private tour and Deluxe tent option. Petra was 3.5 hours for us from Amman hotel in a beautiful sedan. We stopped once for a break at a nice store, restroom, and “to go” restaurant. Be warned, our driver only gave us 1 bottle of water at the start, nothing after that fir 2 days. Yet others shared their driver had water in a cooler at the ready. Our driver was a good driver, but spoke on his cell phone / texted often even though illegal which did concern me, and his English was very very limited. But besides that, everything else was 11 out of 10! Petra was amazing - next to the ticket counter (need to have them stamp your Jordan pass if you have one), you can organize a guide for 75 dinar for 2 hours or 150 dinar for 4 hours (the latter included a golf cart ride to and from the treasury!) You will appreciate that as we did 16000+ steps and many stairs in 3.5 hours. There is more climbing of stairs than I expected but it was great. We skipped the monastery as was 100 degrees and 900 extra stairs! Our tour guide, Edi was fabulous! He knew all the best places for pictures, history, etc. Petra is so much bigger than you expect, so much to see. The kids will be persistent trying to sell you things, a no thank you is required, but the will still say “think about it.” After the amazing Petra, our driver took us to Wadi Rum - red rock mountains that makes Zion national park look small - 1.45 hours away. We were tired but our package included a 2-hour jeep tour. It was Amazing thanks to Jaffar. 4 stops with 3 hikes, kind assistance if needed, photo shoots, stories, and even desert survival training tips, etc. Jaffer is kind, knowledgeable, and funny. There were 6 of us in the open air jeep - it was fun meeting everyone. The hikes took us to 20000 steps, and we skipped the last major climb up a sand dune for a 375 view. Then off to checkin at great tents, more like lodges than tents and very nicely appointed with great bathrooms, AC, and coffee maker. Then 1 hour before dinner- which was the best meal we have had yet on this trip. All you can eat and so many options. No alcohol. Then group dancing followed by a cozy fire pit and star gazing. Great sleep, good breakfast and checkout at 8 am for all. It was cool weather in morning - felt great. Then 3.5 hours to Dead Sea on Jordan side - 40 dinar each for lunch buffet and beach access and 2 pools. Great deal. Alcohol extra if desired. Crown plaza. Their Dead Sea beach has urns filled with Dead Sea mud (free) to use before you wade into the Dead Sea - 34% salt (stings your eyes so be careful). They even will cut sea salt as a free salt scrub if desired on the dock. Was amazing. Towels, chaises, etc. It was hot so just stayed 40 mins before heading to lunch buffet. Dried off and changed as very few people had on their swim suits and coverups there. Lots of good food choices, especially salads, Vegys, and pastas. Then after more relaxing back to our hotel. 1 hour away without traffic. We had a great time and superb service!
Great trip, one of the best ever experiences

Desert Stars

Mr. Q was a wonderful host. He made sure we enjoyed ourselves at each of the stops. The desert trip to Wadi Rum was outstanding, the sky full of stars, very peaceful, and so beautiful to spend an evening there.
Spectacular tour

Jordan, Amman, Petra in 3 days.
LewisRoss_H, Feb 2023
The two day trip was incredible and most of that was due to the most excellent of guides, Mr Mohammad Abu Hamdah. The drive through snow and ice to Wadi Musa was amazing and then down to Petra. The time there was well spent and was able to see it all by entering via the back way visiting the Monastery first then walking down to the Treasury. The off to Wadi Rum, the two hour desert trip and camping overnight in luxury. Ice on the desert sands in the morning as we headed back to the village on the back of the truck and off to Aqaba! After Aqaba up through the valley to the Dead Sea, seeing all the fertile lands and horticulture and finally back to Amman and Mansuf for Dinner. The next day, a tour of Amman, the Ampitheater, Citadel then to Madaba and Mt Nebo, and after visiting the churchs of Madaba, back to Dubai. Wonderful trip and highly recommend the travel company and my friend Mohammad.

Greta option for seeing Jordan
Lucas_W, Sep 2022
We completed the two day tour of Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea on our trip to Jordan and loved it! Our driver Zakariya was always on time and very informative. The distances between the different destinations are quite vast so having a driver was invaluable! We loved seeing Petra (which is self guided FYI) and the jeep tour of Wadi Rum and camping overnight was great. The dinner at the camp was delicious. We elected to pay a little extra to have lunch at the Dead Sea which turned out to be a nice buffet at one of the hotels which was lovely. Would highly recommend this tour!
Overwhelming area and worth the trip!
Carol_H, May 2022
We loved Petra and Wadi Rum. Our stay in the camp at Wadi Rum was quite pleasant and peaceful. We had a great Viator guide who picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Petra then onto Wadi Rum. He then picked us up again to return us to another hotel. He was very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed his company. Unfortunately, although the tour of Wadi Rum was great, our Bedouin guide within Wadi Rum (different than Viator guide) was very bored with it all and had little interaction with us. However, he is just one of many other guides, so chances are slim to get him within Wadi Rum. We should advise to have your destination pick up location very clear up front with Viator and confirmed. We stayed at a hotel at the Dead Sea region and Viator knew that when we had booked two weeks prior but they did not convey to us the issue of a pick up at the dead sea vs Arman until the day before the tour. Gratefully our tour guide worked it out for us and we were picked up at the Dead Sea hotel which actually was on the way to Petra anyway so... All in all we were very happy with our tour and highly recommend it to all.
Super!
