Pickup details

This tour offers free hotel pick-up service for certain hotels in Amsterdam. You could check if your hotel is on the pick up list. If not, you could meet us Amsterdam central station, or check your nearest hotel pick up point. The list covers 95% hotels in Amsterdam (we make sure the pick up point is less than 5 minutes walking from your hotel). If your hotel is not on the list, you could write down your hotel name and address, we will check it if it is possible to pick you up from your hotel, or nearest meeting point. Otherwise you could meet us at amsterdam central station. One day before the tour, our tour guide will contact you to confirm your pick up time and location. We pick up between 8:00 - 9:00. If you have any questions, send us an imessage or whatsapp message. It will be much more efficient than calling. Please be prepared and wait in front of your hotel 5 minutes in advance before our arrival. Please note: we don't pick up from the airport area, north side of IJ river and outside highway Ring A10.

A great day in the countryside

The tour guide was so knowledgeable and engaged with the group. Koen was very attentive to the areas we were visiting and ensuring we were informed of all activities and photo ops.

Our driver "Pete" was awesome. Very friendly and informed. Zaanse Schans was fun to see the traditional Dutch activities like cheese making and wooden shoes. Try to get there early to beat the big crowds. Giethoon is a quaint little town. Boat ride was a small boat in small canals. Many boats. Its a long day, but a small group and it was all interesting and it was nice to see a lot of the countryside.

I will never forget the experience. It was raining but still fantastic. Our driver and tour guide Koen provided us umbrella during the tour. He too was happy taking pictures of us. He is kind and reliable. 😊

Excellent tour guide and interesting places to see. The canal ride and lunch in beautiful Giethoorn Village was a real highlight. Also enjoyed the cheese and shoemaking demos. Made time to tour a windmill which was a new experience.

Our guide was very nice and really tried but we could not understand him. We had to sit in the back and could not hear anything he said. If you don’t like close quarters this is not the tour for you. We were 9 people shoulder to shoulder in a mini van. Again, guide was nice but did not need to be escorting English speaking clients

Keon was very helpful throughout the whole tour. The car is super comfortable too and we had a very smooth journey. The places that he brought us is super interesting and authentic. Also, recommended a number of nice restaurants. Will engage him again when I’m back here
